this was pure domination from Alessio. slapping FH winners at will, he's been in control of the match from the beginning and never giving any chance to Veic.

Alessio is a wonderful HC player, he has beaten the likes of Melzer, Sampras and other former top 10s on this kind of surface.

Can't wait to see him against Raonic in Davis Cup.

Amazing. It would be an outrage if he doesn't get a Roland Garros WC.

Veic :smash:

Di Mauro on clay is actually nowhere near as bad as some people make him out to be, but on any other surface he should not be beating better players this handily. I can only imagine that Veic got frustrated with the Italian's defensive game and started to self-destruct. (And losing the plot is Veic's second nature.)

Absolutely destroyed by Yuichi, ouch.

I've seen Veic play only once and immediately realized that the guy is a colossal mug capable of losing to anyone with a pulse, so this outcome is not unexpected.

Alessio HAD to tank the match against Sugita as he's a commitment in DC tomorrow. Will play the fist match against Raonic and possibly doubles.
