Win here would be great for Marin's confidence but Tsonga is a bad matchup for him.

since start of the 2012 season Vulturic is 1-11 against TOP 15 players (only win vs Isner in Madrid)

Tsonga has been a big clown lately even for his standards but against king of the clowns he should win in 2

Cilic and better ranked players  . Tsonga may be as shitty as ever but still Cilic would find a way to lose

Should Tsonga's current form hold true, this will be an extremely difficult obstacle to pass.

Tsonga is actually great mutch-up for Cilic. He has big serve and that's all. He hasn't any weapons from back line nor he is quick and he is worste returner in the top. Marin has one of the best returns in the game, he is quick and has better shots from the back line. His serve is too big for Tsonga. Off-course that is if Marin will play good but he will loose in straights or he will wind a way to loose like he always do.

When was the last time Cilic beat someone from Top10? He played Giraldo and Isner here, so both guys completely out of form, and he still got pushed to two tie breaks. Tsonga had trouble against Troicki, but demolished Nieminen which indicates that his form is rising. What is the most important Cilic is headcase, Tsonga is not. Jo is able to raise his level when he needs to, Cilic other way around.
