Simon/Zemlja (and possibly some physical problem?) in R4.

From the way he lost 1st set from *40-15 it looked like another lost case.

In the third set Janko looked like he got a shot of adrenaline during that MTO.

What a mug. Taking MTO when leading 1:0 in third. He was fine for entire match, before and after that break. Anderson should have win that in two, having three break points go to up a break in 2nd (two on 2nd services) and blowing 4:2 lead in TB. He double faulted on set point and on break point at 0:3 in third. I hope tipsa will get double bageled in next round

bahh, what a clown Kevin... shattered all his chances with that ridiculous gift at 5-5 in the 2nd set TB.

Started watching from the middle of the 2nd, Janko looked good from what I saw. Hopefully he goes on to defend his QF from last year.

Miami R3 sounds like a decent player.

Ah edited. Tipsarevic showing what a huge fighter he is at least.

What a meltdown from Anderson.

On the other hand, Tipsy is an entertaining player, nice to see him gaining some of his form back.

Perfect tournament to wake up from the slumber at, for several reasons.

Great win Janko!!
Hopefully, this comeback will be even bigger! But Simon is a nightmare matchup fpr Tipsy.

Idemo Janko! It is always a pleasure to see Janko fighting, focused and motivated. A shame that sometimes Tipsarevic retires withou any strong reason or stops playin serious tennis. His mental strenght can do very good things and very bad ones.

Feel sorry for Anderson, he is a great player with more weapons apart from serve, he will improve his ranking :)

Good for you, Tipsy, but I hope Simon takes advantage of his draw.

Never understood why players should be allowed to take medical time outs before their opponent serves. Would be so much more fairer if you take it before your own service game.

Tennis lost. I hope this clown gets schooled in the next round. Shitsarevic is easily one of the biggest mugs to fluke into top ten by far right up there with Almugro, Melzer and Fish.

You forgot that Janko broke Anderson in first two sets only to lose his serve immediately so how was that Anderson in two when it's Janko who mugged up twice on his serve.

Janko won two matches in a row ?

agreed haha, Janko is fun in interviews but is such a tool on court, supposedly takes a MTO to nurse an injury after first game of set and then wins the set 6-0

total dousche

If Tipsarevic had been bageled he would be the object of ridicule on mtf. But it's Anderson who docuble-faulted in a TB to give the 2nd set away and got bageled in the third, so people get angry with Janko?

I'm very sorry, but if an MTO is all it takes to bagel Anderson, then he has no business being ranked in the top 30. Simple as that.

My bracket is ruined, I picked Anderson to beat Simon   but I'm glad Tipsy's found his form again. His tennis is great fun to watch.

And he's great fun off the court as well. Idemo Jankela! :worship:

I'm utterly shocked Tipsarevic won 2 matches in a row, much less in 3 against Anderson, with a bagel.

Janko isn't playing pretty but at least he fought! Anderson mug up in that TB, from 5-5 (missed a short ball from janko and then stupid DF) but you got to give credit to Tipsy fighting spirit. Hope he gets motivated and get back to the results that put him in top 10 in the first place...

I don't get why people would be mad about that MTO. I was rather proud of him for it, he didn't do it until he was out of trouble rather than try and get a break when Anderson had momentum. And given that he has only played one tournament without being clearly injured at one point all year, I give him the benefit of the doubt here.
Great fight, though Anderson double faulting on pretty much every big point didn't hurt

Spot on. :) I would understand the complaints if the thrid set was extremely close, so even an early MTO influenced it, but eating a bagel when the serve is supposed to be one of your biggest strengths, that's Anderson's fault alone.

I feel sorry for the people who paid money into see this one.

I just hope Janko didn't sustain any long term damage from the nasty injury he picked up during his 45 second hold to start the third set.
