Trollish TB. Fiasco won the first five points, Falla took the next six.

Fiasco in full force...5 DFs and 47 UEs.

Mugdasco. What a shit player.

Such a great match. Should have been bests of 9. Though Verdasco would have choked the first 5 sets in that case

Verdasco getting a night match on center court. :spit:

But the vast majority of those points were well played. Very enjoyable match overall.

There's nothing like a Fiasco choke. 5-0 in the tb and loses

Verdasco left his mind in 2009.

Simply didn't want it as bad as Falla did.

Some epic clowning, though. 5-0 up in the TB, loses 6 in a row, then hits a FH DTL winner to save MP, then mugs away the 6-7 point with a beyond careless FH that he clearly was looking to shank long.

Weird choice for the last match on the stadium

Verdasco was just pathetic in the tie-break

Verdasco is still so good to watch when he is on, even tonight I enjoyed his attacking game - but the basic errors are killing him. Not sure how committed he is either.

Verdasco taking the concept of choking to a whole new level again, 5-0 with two serves

Did you guys see Verdasco after the match? He was literally running off like Forest Gump

I think they put this on CC because of the huge Colombian population in Miami but it still was a weird choice.

Exactly, show someone a highlight reel with Verdasco's best 20 points of the match and that person would think Nando was on fire.

After beating GOAT in Madrid last year, Fiasco's life dream has become a reality. He has nothing to play for now. Expected loss :yeah:

The choke wasn't as big as you're trying to make it. At least until 5-4 or 5-5 it was just very well played by Falla, just like it was very well played by Nando from 0-0 to 5-0.

Nando really needs to retire. He won a match against Rafa, dated Wozniacki, and reached a slam semi. What more can he do?

You actually have to know how the points transpired to claim there was any kind of choke. By the same token you could argue that Falla was just as terrible for giving up a 5-0 lead in the first place. People calling every second match a choke is one of the most insufferable aspects of this forum.

Come on, man.

5-0 up in a TB with 2 serves to come? Admittedly Falla played well to take it back, but Nando made some bone headed errors as well.

Verdasco once again outdoing himself. "For my next trick, I will lead a set and *5-0, 40-0, and lose."

No need for that, tennis just gives him the platform he needs to get more teeny girls to follow him on twitter and view his juvenile and cringe worthy photos! You'd think at nearly 30 that he'd have grown out of it by now. That and the limp handshakes.
