Nervous match

Seppi had a MP at 5-4 in the second set. Lost it and lost the set. Seppi also lead 4-1 in the decider, but Bedene fought back to 4-4 and had 0-30 on Seppi serve. Seppi held and later on broke to love at 6-5 (just like the first set) to win the match.

Enough drama for one day. :)

Yesss! :worship: well fought!

I wonder if Andreas was just subpar today or if Bedene was playing at a very high level. not trying to discredit him as an opponent, as I knew he could give some trouble, but I really wasn't expecting such a closely contested one. regardless, a win is a win and Seppi has never done particularly well on this soil.

very winnable next round, specially if Bellucci pulls through .

Never good for tennis when Seppi wins. He has zero resolve or belief on the big stage.

Seppi winning a match in North America is pretty rare.

He isn't exactly a giant killer but he has a nice game.
