Sweet Jesus.

RIP and condolences to the friends and family. This is just absolutely tragic. I do hope we find out what it was, perhaps another heart problem like Mathieu Montcourt?

This is just a tragedy  And at 24? I can't imagine.

I remember Bouras from college. Very solid #1 player for UNLV, was often in the rankings.

Apparently he just "became ill"? (http://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/unlv-rebels/other-sports/former-unlv-tennis-star-mehdi-bouras-24-dies)

This is very sad, the kid had lots of promise. Reminds me of what happened to Federico Luzzi a few years back, just got sick and died a few days later. The Montcourt thing was more sudden. Que en paz descanses!

I'm reading in lt.it about possibly meningitis being the cause of his death but not sure if that's a certainty. very sad news indeed and hoping for his family to remain strong.

He was very much a man, no child.

Poor guy. I feel for his family. I'm sure they have a lot to be proud of.

Very sad. Bouras was a great man and a great representative of Algeria. He had more resources than Lamine so he had more opportunity and he went to America and made our country proud.

RIP Mr. Bouras. UNLV and the greater Las Vegas area has produced some excellent players over the years, and 24 is beyond way too young to pass away.
