Comcast SportsNet showed an exhibition from the 1st Mariner Bank Arena in Baltimore. To start off, two young American juniors, Philip Simmonds and Scoville Jenkins faced off. Jenkins looks like he has some talent - decent groundstrokes, good serves, and fast around the court. Simmonds has a decent net game and a good serves, but was more error-prone. Jenkins won in a pro-set, 8-6. Maria Sharapova then faced off against Lindsay Davenport, and won 7-5, 6-3. After that, Jenkins and Sharapova teamed up against Davenport and Simmonds, with Baltimore Orioles players Brady Anderson and Larry Bigbie substituting in. Brady Anderson is a lefty and actually looked like he had some talent, even if he looked like he was on a lot of steroids. Baltimore Ravens players Chris McAlister and Adalius Thomas also joined in. It looked like everyone had a lot of fun, and the proceeds went to charity.
