Go Juanqui, I just want him to get to the 3rd round, i'm sick of second round losses. Better if he goes further then the 3rd round, but i'll be happy if he gets to the 3rd. And i think he will because he's just the best and the mosquito will regain his sting

Hewitt said the court of aus open is a bit of slow,so I think JC will feel comfortable here.He reached SF last year why he can't do better this time?

No, I agree, stuff 3rd round. He's gonna win and triple bagel federer while doing it (wishful thinking) but I would so love it if he won, all the media attention he will get :D

JC will play doubles competition with Santiago Ventura, a close friend! :)

Oh wow! That is really neat! The more doubles practice that he gets, the better! :)

I am trying not to get my hopes up about the Australian Open, at the same time that I'm trying to believe in JC. It's difficult. :D

I think that if he made it to the Quarters I would be very satisfied. Sometimes it's just impossible to judge how he will perform! I think perhaps how he does in Auckland might give us a hint on his current form.

Vamos Mosquito!!

Santiago Ventura?Who is he?I never heard his name
Anyway,to play more game(single & double) is good for him.
I always think good results are base on good draw more or less, being a 31 seed he will face one of 1-16 seeds in 3rd round.Hopefully it will not a big
opponent.

Sigh, in his best days, even half-best days, he was reaching the 4th round
as easy as a blink of an eye with that draw. I hope he'll gather himself.

I do hope that he will be able to play and beat Zabaleta. But I'm not getting my hopes up -- trying to save myself from vast disappointment, just in case.

Last year he was injured too right? But he made it to the semis, nevertheless. I dare say that this situation is no where near that one. Last year he was coming off a wonderful 2003 and was brimming with confidence. This year he's trying desperately to get back to his old form -- to add an injury on top of that, even if it is slight -- is not good news.

We've still gotta support him through the hard times too though :) C'mon JC, you can do it.

Charz
01-22-2005, 07:38 AM
He lost but doesn't matter even though it must have ment alot to him to get through further into the tournament all we can do is support him in all the other events he plays in. To get back to his old form he needs alot more confidence and matches against the big guns. He will get back to the top rankings he just needs time. And we can support him all the way.
Vamos Ferrero!!
We are all here to support you
