I was going to put the link !
I AM SO HAPPY, CA FAIT TROP DU BIEN DE LE VOIR EN CHAIR ET EN OS ! He's alive, and well alive, very cute, yes ! LOOL

Well, to summarize, he's fine, he retires soon in september cos he had a true injury (I have some doubts but..), no familial problems, all is ok, he really wants to play davis cup in februar, that's why he will play only 2 tournaments before.
He has a jamaican physic trainer who makes him work very hard it seems. He stoped with Tulasne (well, his argument was not very claer, I'm not sure that's the only reason) because he wanted to try something else, to hear a new speech, a new method, He admited, by these words "I'm quite...(smile) lazy, I need someone who's "hard with me" (sorry I dunno how to say the good expression), aww he was so pretyy when he said that.... :hearts:

omg, Seb, Seb, Seb.... we miss you so much !!! Vivement january !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bounce:

I type the interview (the whole report in fact), but don't count on me to translate into english, this translation might make me die...

the translation might make you die?! LOL marine

thanks for the interview and transcript Marine!!! I'll translate (long time since i've done this :s)

After 90 days in silence, Seb explains what he has been doing to Stade 2.- How's it been, 3 months without journalists?
Yeah, its done me a lot of good, just resting at home for 3 months at home with the family.

First subject of discussion: An injury which was allegedly from a football match. However, many journalists doubt whether this was the truth. Is Seb a liar?

- Were you really injured?
Yeah because i was injured so often, no one really thought of asking me about it. I hope that i'm not going to have to justify my injury. I've been in good health, but if you want i've got a doctor's certificate. The doctors here dont go around giving them out for no reason, i promise, i'm really injured. Ive just needed to recover...I would have explained it better but i didnt think it would have been neccessary.

2nd Subject of Discussion: This injury has prevented you from playing the semis of DC...the 4th consequetive forfeit on your part from the competition.

-You're conscious of the fact that your status as the French number One gives you responsibilities. Many people were disapointed...the
Yeah, so was I! I was very upset that i couldnt play Davis Cup. Unfortunately, even though i made changes to my schedule i wasnt able to reach my aim and play as much Davis Cup as possible.

- First Round against the Swedes in Strasbourg, is that your goal for the moment?
Yeah, i just want to keep to my schedule, only playing 2 tournaments instead of 3 so i can prepare myself for the first round matches.

- Did you speak to Guy about that?
- I have to call him soon, actually, to tell him what my choice of surfact is. I'll be able to tell him that he can count on me.

For next year, Seb will prepare himself physically as well specifically for the tennis court with a Jamaican trainer...

3rd subject of discussion: The end of his collaboration with Thierry Tulasne. A failure which the coach explained to be caused by personal problems.
- I never spoke about my private life, but theres no problems there. It's all good. Thierry says what he wants, but theres absolutely no reason to say that theres anything wrong with whats going on at home.

I really wanted to get a totally different view, hear another speech, another culture, the american culture, so i could push myself further. What Thierry did was all good and well, but i need more because i'm kind of...lazy by nature.

At last good news!!! Pity to see he got his annual haircut, but it'll grow! :) I hope the new trainer and physical trainer will set Seb flying the next season. And it'll probably do his English no end of good to have an American trainer ;)

12-06-2004, 07:38 PM
I knew you were going to do it, Esther ;)

12-06-2004, 09:55 PM
:D Oui! After months of expectancy and worry all faithful Sèbastien's fans deserve this great news. Congratulate everybody! Seb's with us, we're with Seb, and it's the most important.

And.. I've discovered one more thing:

"Roddick <...> hosts his fourth Andy Roddick Charity Weekend at the Boca Raton Polo Club, Dec. 11-12, with proceeds benefiting Kids in Distress, Margaux's Miracle Foundation and the Back to Basics Angels Fund.

Roddick will play exhibitions with France's No. 1 player, Sebastien Grosjean, who lives full-time in Boca..."
