I'm glad he plays Rotterdam this year, and now I have a better look at the schedule. It's his first tournament after the AO, so he might be in Rotterdam early in the weekend already. So I'll have to go to the qualies and there is a big chance I see Roger practising :D

Legolas, your avatar is scary...
By the way, if Roger wins All the ams and grand slams next year, he'll be world no:1 at least 4 years....

Thanks :) but you know, I explained it some other places, I can only have this avatar till December 6. Because then the Black Peters (like this guy on the pic) will leave Holland again.
In Holland the story goes that Sain Nicholas and his black peters arrive mid-November by boat. Then the Black Peters give presents and candies to children till the night of December 5 and that night they leave again. So I'll have to change my avatar December 6

The Jan 10 tournament is Kooyong: it's not an ATP event, which is why it doesn't appear on the ATP tournament lists, it's an exhibition that serves as a warm-up for the Australian Open. It doesn't give any ranking points, due to being an exhibition, but it has a round-robin format which guarantees each player a few matches each, and that is why a lot of the top players sign up for it, because it is a good way of getting a lot of match practice in before the AO begins.

Kooyong Classic
What: Men's Round Robin (8)
When: January 9-15
Where: Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, Melbourne
Surface: Rebound Ace
Recent winners: (2004) David Nalbandian (ARG), (2003) Andre Agassi (USA), (2002) Pete Sampras
Description: Kooyong’s traditional grass centre court was replaced by Rebound Ace and has been populated with the crème de la crème of men’s tennis in this hard fought, four-day exhibition, held just a few days before the Open. Andre Agassi has been a firm supporter, competing seven times and winning on three occasions, taking the Australian Open title after each victory.

Rogi seems to be playing a lot of tourneys for the first half but perhaps he's being like AA, who tried to win titles early to get in as many pts as poss so he could ease off later in the year when everyone else is slogging it out...

As long as Rogi is healthy and fit, that's all I care... don't overdo it, Rogi!

Hope he's lying on that beautiful beach in the Maldives now...
