I'm sorry, am I sending you into a rage?

See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
And say hello, little did I know

Davodus
03-25-2009, 03:19 PM

Masha91

Masha91
03-25-2009, 03:27 PM
That's the most random song, the film clip is good too.

You underestimate the powers of the

Davodus
03-25-2009, 03:31 PM

Davodus
03-25-2009, 03:38 PM

So is anybody going to the Miami tournament??

Tess Gray
03-25-2009, 04:55 PM
Hi Jen:wavey:
Well, I'm (obviously) not going to Miami :p Are you planning to go?

Eimear O'Mahony
03-25-2009, 05:03 PM
No Jen I'm not unfortunately. I take it you are? When are all our faves playing anyway?

~*BGT*~
03-25-2009, 05:15 PM
So is anybody going to the Miami tournament??

I've been planning a trip to Miami for two years now. Well, last year didn't work out because I decided to go to DC instead and this year isn't happening because I'm going to Paris this summer. But I'm still planning for 2010. ;) :p

Gretchen.
03-25-2009, 06:24 PM
Yeah I'm going to be there for the quarters, semis and final and I am so excited, hopefully Richard makes it that far....although it will take a lot of work :) I would love to see an all french final :D

Tess Gray
03-25-2009, 06:33 PM
Niiice! Be sure to take loads of pics;) I hope you get to see some frenchies (preferably Richard ofcourse:lol:). Who are your fav players?

Eimear O'Mahony
03-25-2009, 06:38 PM
Aw that's great Jen! :) You're so lucky. I hope you have an awesome time!

Gretchen.
03-25-2009, 06:56 PM
Hehe thanks yeah I can't wait:)

My fave players are Richard,Gilles Simon,Tsonga and Monfils ha basically all the frenchies ;) and then I also like Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt

Who are yours??

Tess Gray
03-25-2009, 07:12 PM
Well Jo, Gael, Richard (Gilles not so much:lol: The girls here have been trying to persuade me but I'm not completely convinced yet:p), Nole, Rafa, Marko Djokovic (basically just for the looks, not the tennis:o:lol:), Ernests Gulbis, All the Dutchies for obvious reasons;), Eduardo Schwank, Marcos Baghdatis... aah so many:lol: But the frenchies & Nole are def my favs:p

EDIT: omg Grisha! How could I forget him:lol: My beloved Grigor Dimitrov

Eimear O'Mahony
03-25-2009, 07:14 PM
Mine are the Frenchies, Murray, Nadal and Verdasco. Tess loves Gilles really she just doesn't want to admit it right Tessa :p

Gretchen.
03-25-2009, 07:27 PM
Lol yeah I really started liking Gilles after that marathon Nadal match in Madrid :D

Oh I love Grigor too! I was so excited for him when he beat Berdych who I seriously do not like
I use to like Nadal a lot and I still do it's just he's like on every final now and sorta turning into Federer you know just dominating everything lol it's getting boring having the same final every tournament

Tess Gray
03-25-2009, 07:28 PM
Suuuuure sweetie, whatever you want (:lol:)

Actually, when the Miami draw came out, Marion caught me when I was talking about Gilles' draw. She was like: "AHA, you looked at his draw!" Guilty as charged :sobbing: but it was an accident, honestly :o

Tess Gray
03-25-2009, 07:30 PM
Ohyes the Byrdman win was just :worship: Although I do quite like Tomas, I was pleased for Grisha!

Oh should I give you a heads up: never EVER say anything positive about Stepanek in this Forum... ever. Just so you know... you'll be cursed if you do:)

Eimear O'Mahony
03-25-2009, 07:32 PM

Eimear O'Mahony

Gretchen.
03-25-2009, 07:37 PM
Lol do not worry I am no fan of Stepanek he is like a disease that won't go away
He annoyed me so much during Davis Cup grrrr

Yeahh Gilles played awesome in that match I remember I was like 'oh my god' on every point lol

I love Andy he's so funny and he's great to watch :D

Eimear O'Mahony

Eimear O'Mahony
03-26-2009, 10:21 AM
Definitely! And I know you guys really love your 'Aussie Kim' She was soooo popular because of her relationship with Lleyton. I just loved her personality and her game

Masha91
03-26-2009, 10:22 AM

Just like some people tried to have "Aussie Ana" we really need a superstar, Jelena Dokic's run was fantastic.

I hope Kim has a successful comeback!

Eimear O'Mahony
03-26-2009, 10:24 AM
I'm sure it'll be tough for her with a baby but I'm sure she'll give it her best and she's still young enough (I think she's only 25 or something?) so there's more of a likelihood of a successful comeback

So she hasn't held the press conference yet? I heard about the e-mail to Lindsay because Lindsay told everyone about it  I'm sure Kim was like 'Gee thanks Lindsay!!!' I'm not surprised it's on the news there Dave. She was practically one of your own while she was playing, even after her split with Lleyton

Yes, baby number #2, must be very exciting for the Davenport family!

exactly
i think she should have won 5+ slams (wimbledon 2005 :bigcry::bigcry:) but she won 55 titles and more then $22 million prizemoney
pretty successful :yeah: so she deserves her family life

and now we have kim, so it's good :yeah:

I don't think there was an official announcement but it's probably implied.

Davodus
03-26-2009, 11:55 AM
lindsay never officially announced anything but this time she asked for her name to be taken out of the rankings, so i guess that means she is done, but you never know

kim definitely deserved more than that USO, (AO 04) SO i hope she wins another

Masha91
03-26-2009, 12:02 PM
You never do know, she might try something after baby number two granted that another little one doesn't come along

Hopefully, Kim will have a successful comeback and really contest the slams.

Stephie Cesc
03-26-2009, 12:04 PM
but how old is she? Is it too late for another comeback?

Davodus
03-26-2009, 12:05 PM
i think with the tour the way it is now, she would be a real shot, i mean she never lost to ana or jj when she played, mind you ana only really came good after kim left, and i wouldnt know who to go for if they played, and jj slightly before kim left
the only problem for her is the williams sisters, who, on her day, she can beat  so i think she can do it :D

it KILLED me

Well, at least one of your faves are guaranteed to get through, I don't really have that problem as much because I still have somewhat of a hierarchy of favourites but it's still hard to watch.

ALG won 6-1 6-4
she thrashed...and had like 10 aces
it wasn't what i wanted at all, i wanted it to be close

i can't separate ana, lucie and ALG, and i can't separate tomas and richard

and then kim and lindsay were on a different, but the same level of favourite
its hard, i cannot stand when they play :(

It would have been better to see a competitive match.

I have an absolute favourite for each side of the game with other favourites who closely follow them so it's a tad easier for me.

steph, because mario had glandular fever (or mono, or whatever you call it), his immune system would have problems, and also glandular can be a recurring sickness if you get a bad version of it
and because the liver is a great producer of the bodies immunity (sending it to lymph glands) he now has a liver problem :(

federer had it mild, mario had it very very very bad

I like that dance. I think it suits Jo's personality. If anyone else did it I'd be like 'that's stupid' but because its Jo and it fits in with his personality it doesn't seem so bad. Yeah, Gael can come across as a little arrogant but he's come from a really harsh background so I suppose he has his moments from time to time which can be portrayed as arrogance. Not as much now though. I think he's maturing. Its all a matter of taste and opinion though

So you don't identify with either really Luke? My mother is from the Philippines but I totally identify with Australia.

Well I don't feel Singaporean because most Singaporeans are quite different from Chinese (seeing as they have left China for a long time) and many a time have many ridiculous ways of doing things (such as their language, singlish or singaporean english which is completely incomprehensible to native english speakers) so I can't really identify, even though most of my classmates consider me singaporean. But as compared to Chinese (the nationality not the race), I'm not really Chinese so I'm kinda stuck in the middle i guess.
