This will be an epic! I'm so excited! The Fog to confuse the f*ck out of Klizan in 3 :rocker2:

Great line-up, would be nice if Klizan won... but fuck that, The Fog in 3 ALL THE WAY

Fog should win. I mean if he doesn't beat Klizan after his marathon match today, then he might as well never win a title. That said, I wouldn't be disappointed at all if Klizan won, as I like him as well. Should be epic.

Fabio, for once, took advantage of a very weak draw to reach this final so maybe that's a good sign going into it.

speaking of tiredness don't know if anyone noticed Klian push-ups at the end of the match before the interview :haha:

Hope Klizan wins this, he is my countryman so i will be rooting for him, but anyway this 250 event in St. Petersburg was joke, there are many challengers with better line-up and quality.

This final guarantees first maiden title winner in 2012, anyway it's the weakest year in this regard since 1983 (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showpost.php?p=12439537&postcount=35), probably in the entire Open era.

Klizan beated local boy Youzhny, so he deserves these points at least a bit. You don´t play vs Youzhny at challengers... Fognini had it much easier and is in a big advantage for tomorrow. Klizan is a fighter but this is probably too much to handle. My bet is Fognini in 3, though I am sure that Klizan is normally at least slightly better player than Fabio.

terrible season end. as usual, all the vultures are flocking on to feast on the carrion of the dead season.

Klizan is playing doubles SF right now (Slovakian clash Klizan/Polasek vs Lacko/Zelenay). Guy is crazy, but that means he probably has at least something left in the tank.

Klizan told for Slovakian press that he feels still really good. He had some back problems in 2nd set and was thinking about retiring at 6-7, 0-1* but suddenly all felt good. Who knows...

Fognini has everything in his favour: he has already played an ATP final and is well rested unlike Klizan.

I think fatigue will be a massive factor tommorow. Klizan after his marathon decided to play an all-Slovak doubles clash Klizan/Polasek - Lacko/Zelenay. Anyone seen this match? They must have had quite a show and a lot of laughs.

Rooting for Martin, voting for Fabio, he will be rested for sure, but maybe he can pull som legendary brainfart.

This can be a factor for some. Berankis played very well in LA, but shit his pants against a beatable opponent in the final.

Hopefully Klizan will win. From what I've seen of him, he should be ranked in the top 20 at least at this point in time.

His win over Tsonga in New York was no fluke; although Jo wasn't playing well, Klizan played very good tennis and showed great talent. Should be a future top 10er if he keeps making progress.

Why is this an ATP event? The players here are worse than the overweight women playing at my local $15/hour tennis club.

How can a final between Tsonga and Seppi be regarded as something terrible is something I'll never understand... Why the hell do you people even watch tennis if it's all mugs pushers and snooze fests???

Metz final has the chance to be a great final, if you can't see that you're just hating on the game.

That's not what I meant mostly, I mean that Klizan-Fognini is more interesting cause it's going to be a 1st time winner, plus the odds of Tsonga winning are very high, so this match is more interesting that way too.

Great final to a crappy event. I really dont know who I want to win, but its a win-win situation for me. The most interesting player in the world can become even more interesting, while Klizan who seriously looks to me as a future top 10 player can make his breakthrough here. Who do I want to win more? The guy who deserves it more, of course.

Fognini in 3 :rocker:

Yes, interesting final. I won't mind either one winning this. I am slightly leaning towards Fog as Klizan will be more tired. I hope it won't be long before both these players have a title.

I think fatigue will be a massive factor tommorow.

Klizan is young, had easy matches before the semifinal, and it's a tournament indoors where is easier to regroup. I think people tend to overrate players' fatigue, especially when judge it based on facial expressions and body language. There's a group of players (Murray is a leader) who complain, stumble and fall but run like crazy pigs when it matters the most. Klizan belongs to it.

To be honest, Klizan's physical achievement is nothing in comparison to Edberg's US Open '92, Korda's Munich '93, Nadal's and Djokovic's Australian Open triumphs etc.
