Thats an 18 set winning streak for andrey now. I really didnt expect this one to be that easy, he got it done in under an hour. If andrey wins the title here this week he'll crack the top 100 for the first time. He'll face adrian ungur in the final to try and do it

well done :yeah:

I remember Mouratoglou (Serena's coach and lover at the moment  , also Chardy's coach if he still has time for it) saying that in his opinion, Kuznetsov was even more promising than Dimitrov despite Dimitrov being in his academy (well maybe Mouratoglou said that to put less pressure on Dimitrov as well ;) ).

last year Andrey plays challengers
he's too good for those

as for the final Ungur is a tricky opponent, should be a good final to watch

Still Kuznetsov can play only on clay. I think he can make some damage at tournaments like Bucharest or Estoril next year, but that`s all.

thats a rediculous statement to make. He can play well on more than just clay

If you never saw him on hard, look at least his stats, in ATP and Challengers both. The are very demonstrative.

he's got work to do on hard and he is a clay specialist but he can also play well on grass

I see on ATP page that he turned PRO in 2004.
Is this a joke, he was like 13 back then!!!

:haha: I've never understood what 'turning pro' means for non-american players by the way.

there are non-american players who were playing challengers at a certain time and still they weren't considered 'pro' according to the ATP website.

Then you can say everybody can play on everything, what is right in some way. It was easy to understand the point - Kuznetsov can`t sustain his level on hard and grass which he can show on clay.

yeah but then to say that the only places he can do some damage are weak clay events like bucharest or estoril really isnt fair
