What did he get banned for?

I miss all the MTF drama.

Shame. Always made me laugh watching him desperately post the result of every single match played.

Could always imagine him with his mouse hung over the 'Submit Reply' button desperately hoping that he was first.

Must have a million TV's in his house too. He was able to comment on every single match, even those that weren't on TV.

Impressive to say the least.

Brands should have been the first lucky-loser : is there another withdrawal or has he just left ?

I don't understand one thing; when Becker and Nieminen withdrew the main draw was already out. how come Karlovic dind't play a LL?

Sometimes in the draws a qualifier takes the place of the player who withdrew and a lucky-loser takes the place of a qualifier.

I don't know how they decide that but it happens often.

They just mix the qualifiers and a number of LL(depending of how many they need) and place them on the draw.

They just draw all the LL an qualifiers at he same time. In this case there were 4 qualifiers and 2 LL so try just drew all 6 names into those 6 spots at random, if the players had withdrawn after the qualifiers had been drawn in then they would have directly replaced the player who withdrew

Yes, when someone withdrew and qualifiers still aren´t placed to draw, we have 5 or more places left. And it is mixed now - even on some of draws stand - Qualifier/lucky loser.
