Great result. I really hope Fed skips the doubles now.

What difference will it make?

What difference will it make?

Maybe the Swiss win without him, so he doesn't have to play any more matches in this mug event.

He's not down to play any tournaments till Shanghai in October so what difference is one day gonna make?

And Davis Cup isn't a 'mug event'.

The level of the game can probably be understood by the heavy wind.

I don't think Haase-Rojer would lose to Chiudi-Wawa.

Less tiring for Fed playing a double than a single.

Anyway everything went fine for him and for Switzerland :yeah:

What a terrible clownfest that was, two of the worst headcases on tour together on court.

My reaction here might be a bit over the top but Federer always does a lot for his PR and he will probably get some money to show up here..

Good Guy Roger

Rich guy Roger

he loves netherlands

He loves the money.

Federer clearly loves Amsterdam.
If he did he should not play tennis there, courts are the same everywhere.

he isn't getting a penny to play these matches. travelled with ryanair and he's staying at travelodge. this is DC guys, not some rich tourney like Queens or Halle...
