Cute little exho match, Federer looked bored.

Despite the one way-traffic scoreline, De Bakker actually showed some nice tennis once in a while. Of course not even close to becoming a threat to his superior opponent but he did rather well considering the November-like circumstances.

Conditions were strange to me - I mean bounce in first turn. Both had problems with approach to the ball, only few long rallies, but a lot of dropshots and some cool play from Roger at net.

Routine match, but with some funny points. Spectators were delighted, IMO.

now he often puts that for precaution : it was very windy and a little bit fresh

You bet they were and not just for their own team. :)
"Welcome The Living Legend" + De Bakker doing better than expected = :D :D :D

Despite the horrible conditions.

Hopefully he won't have to play a second. Hope he skips the doubles and the Swiss somehow manage to win it.

He's going to play an exhibition match on Monday against Sijsling, so what difference does it make.

On stream :)

literally no one I know watches or cares about tennis, and going alone isn't worth it for me. Not to watch Federer that is  if it was Nadal, I would definitely go no matter what.

How can you have Federer play DC in your country and not take the opportunity to prostrate yourself in front of the GOAT. If RN was playing in my country, I would go jeer his ass-picking shenanigans.

The couch in front of my TV isn't comfy

And I'm not sure, you can watch it on an official stream on the website of the channel, but I'm not sure if they actually show it on tv as well.

I haven't seen any confirmation about that, folks are trolling here.
As for the tie, I hope the Swiss lose the doubles tomorrow, I'd really like to see Fed play on Sunday.

Some Fed fans over here are acting like he's made of sugar, once again... come on, this tie won't hurt him at all. Even more, a vast majority of Dutch fans are very happy to see him around over here. :worship:

Great to see Fed committing to the DC these day. It would be awesome if he and Stan could one day win the whole thing.
