That's the best win for Marco since years.

What a win against a Top 50 player and one of the most promising players.

Yay! I was worried Marco was just going to drop off, but he's had some good wins recently.

I don't get this thread.

Dimitrov isn't very good, why all the hoopla?

I really like Marco (:inlove:) but Grigor HAD to win this match.

Saw a bit of this match but not much as I was over at the grandstand court most of the day. The part I saw there were quite a few errors, not many winners. The Harlem Globetrotters were on center court and the music was loud, Grigor was dancing to the music at times so maybe his head wasn't in the right place, but good win for Chiudinelli.

It was a really hot day as well and the match was one of the longer ones so that may have played a factor:shrug:

Not so much dancing but he was nodding his head and what not. Not full fledged breaking out into a dance, but you could tell he was into the music:lol:

It's time to face the reality: copying Olderer will not carry you too far when you lack the talent to execute his game.

Maybe Grisha was celebrating Serena's win and was unfocused.

I was at the tournament today and saw the final set. Dimitrov just couldn't seem to stay focused. Chiudi made fewer errors than usual
(I actually saw part of a Chiudinelli Q1 match in 2010 as well).

At first no one could hold serve in the 3rd set, so the breaks went back and forth. Then Marco ended up being the more solid one towards the end.

Marco was quite temperamental and threw his racquet a few times when he missed, and argued calls. He had a medical time out very close to the last game. He seemed to be limping slightly towards the end; someone I was with thought that Dimitrov was favoring an ankle (I didn't notice). Both guys were suffering in the heat (it was pretty brutal).

I took a few pics (sorry for the bad quality; old camera :o)
