looks like the isner/raonic match that everyone has been dying to see is almost inevitable here. Toricki is not beating raonic and kohlischreiber's fitness is questionable , even if he was 100% getting by isner would be a big challenge

A non top 4 player might actually win a masters. They will never have a better chance.

Assuming the draw remains like this, the winner of Novak vs Delpo in the QF will take the title, it will a de facto final, especially if Murray withdraws.

A bit tough, but Haas will get the job done by beating Berdych in the final.

Murray really should have withdrawn before the draw. He's got mixed doubles and the singles F still to come... Really very stupid of him, he should never even land in Canada.

If Nole comes into this one with the will to win he can take this one so easily. Only Delpo in his way really, but coming to think about it Delpo deserves something with his recent form. Ok then maybe not a cake walk for Nole, but probably the easiest masters draw he'll ever have.

I think that someone other than Delpo, Murray or Nole will win this event because those 3 guys are still in London and have to play tomorrow. They're gonna be dead tired and adjust to time zones, court surfaces, etc. So it's now the best time for guys like Raonic, Berdych, Isner, other darkhorses to pounce on this chance and win this event.

Closing ceremony? The Olympics will last another week. If Del Potro shall carry the Argentinian flag he can do so after Toronto, before Cincy.

If I'm not wrong - this is the first time since paris 2006 (!) that both nadal and federer are not participating in a masters tournament.

Usually the first day of a Masters tends to be underwhelming, but the fact that they've given seeds 9-16 byes means that tomorrow is particularly dreadful. The first day at Washington was more compelling. Not sure how much I'll be tuning in until Tuesday...
