Both are a lock for a medal. EddieNero 08-02-2012, 02:58 PM The surface favours Murray a lot and he has always been a tough match-up for Djokovic, who's not even close to his best. I'll go with Andy in 3. doublebackhand 08-02-2012, 03:00 PM Somehow I have a feeling for Murray in 3. BroTree123 08-02-2012, 03:00 PM Murray will turn Djokovic into Slipovic. Won Queens? He has a higher career win/loss on the surface but for sure that doesn't trump a Wimbledon title. bounccer 08-02-2012, 03:07 PM Murray has a more natural game on grass, Djokovic won Wimbledon because he was extra confident last year but this Murray seems better, i can be wrong, it's only my opinion dude, if i have the right to give it. Hypnotize 08-02-2012, 03:07 PM Novak's the better player and should win this in 2. uxyzapenje 08-02-2012, 03:09 PM 2 Queens + 1 opening round exit > 1 Wimbledon  My avatar :yeah: bounccer 08-02-2012, 03:12 PM Murray was excellent against Federer at Wimbledon though Nole's tards tried to deny this fact in order to dismish Fed's performance, i think Murray in this final was better than Djokovic on grass this year, and at least on par with Djokovic 2011, if not better (on grass). I can be wrong, we will se tomorrow but it will be a great match. viruzzz 08-02-2012, 03:16 PM Without watching the QF matches is difficult to predict. But in a blind move, I'd say Novak in 3, Murray takes the first set, and then Djokovic wins. Satasonic 08-02-2012, 04:17 PM On topic: The only way Murray has a chance to win this is to bring his alter ego British Karlovic out to play. From the baseline he will be outplayed and outrallied by Djokovic, so he stands no chance. He needs to be as offensive as he can get. Still, even with his pusher tactics, he should be able to grab a set. Ill say that the scoreline will look something like 4-6 6-3 6-3 to Djokovic. DjokerFan3 08-02-2012, 04:38 PM Cheering for my favourite player Djoker to win. But my head says Murray may have the edge here. I think it will be a 3 setter, something like 6-4,3-6,6-4 to whoever wins this match. Personally, I would like to watch a Djoker vs. Fed final since they are my 2 favourite players :) dazed1 08-02-2012, 04:39 PM Nole in 3. sexybeast 08-02-2012, 04:39 PM Murray in 2. vojomocart 08-02-2012, 04:42 PM Srdjan's error in two finishingmove 08-02-2012, 04:46 PM Andy Murray will take this in two to claim the silver. HKz 08-02-2012, 04:50 PM The matchup many of us have been looking forward to. Certainly many things are favoring Murray here, best of 3, grass (potentially?), the British crowd (possibly?) and his game style, all of which can be troubling for Novak. Despite Novak winning Wimbledon last year, I do consider Andy to be the superior grass court player.. So the question is will Novak's mental strength prevail or Andy's game win it? I will go with Murray in 3. Neither have certainly played their best, but it will be an interesting match regardless. juan27 08-02-2012, 04:50 PM andy deserves a medal , silver or gold.....at least bronze. and win the us open. Acapulco, the 5th slam. Big hole in Roger's resume. August 08-02-2012, 05:36 PM First of all, I think grass suits better for Murray. Another thing is if Nole is still too good. But I don't think Nole is much better than Andy except for on clay courts. Andy beat Nole in Dubai this year and had a tight 5-setter at AO. Also, I think Andy wants to win more than Nole, this is his home OG, Nole may be looking more forward to USO. And most importantly, I think Andy is better player than Nole when the match is played on grass. I think Andy was more difficult for Roger than Nole in Wimbledon. But I'd like Nole to win, just coz he'd be an easier opponent for Roger. masterclass 08-02-2012, 05:36 PM Probably Murray in 2. There is no way that Djokovic allows himself to lose this in 2 sets. OG means a lot to him, he's mentally strong. I just can't see Murray winning in 2. Although Nole performs well on grass, I still think Murray is overall just more comfortable/confident on this surface. This being their first meeting on grass also does Nole no favors. Even though Nole has performed well in patches, his game has been too streaky here. My gut is telling me Murray takes this in 3. Please prove me wrong Nole, although I would like to see Murray at least win a bronze here after his Wimby heartbreaker. Moozza 08-02-2012, 06:49 PM What grass title has he won this year. What titles has he won this year? Nole had toughest draw, who did Murray play? Murray has the same number of grass titles as Djoko this year, zero. He did go further than Djokovic at Wimbledon despite having a tougher draw, therefore he has had a better grasscourt season so far. Yes Nole has had the toughest here but it wasn't as bad as it looked on paper. allpro 08-02-2012, 07:01 PM first meeting on grass and the stakes couldn't be much higher: an olympic medal at wimbledon. as to the winner, flip a coin. that said, i'm going with murray in three. nick the greek 08-02-2012, 08:26 PM Hopefully Murray can solve the Serb problem.
