Spain the only country with three men left - on grass. Without Nadal. Impressive. They can use the encouragement, I don't think they have a single medal in anything so far in these Olympics. Of course, Switzerland and Serbia is also on 0 for now. And Britain has no gold medals so far. Motivation all around, then.

 I didn't overreact, didn't mean to be aggresive or anything, just that 'of course' stabed my eye, like we are Sao Tome and Principe, so of course we are not going to win any medals. I don't think the poster meant anything offensive.

This is really great. Tennis has really become more international.

But, can someone tell me why Mardy Fish wasn't named to the US team? Is it b/c he missed Davis Cup play, or something? Donald Young making the team was a joke.

He didn't sign up for it. I think I heard he was too emotionally hurt from the 2004 Olympics that he didn't want to play. Instead he's playing Washington. And your right, Young making it was a joke. He'll drop so much at the end of the year.

I apologize for the error. The "Of course" was just to reassure any fans of Spain that I wasn't trying to single them out. It was not to indicate that 0 medals is normal either for Spain, Switzerland or Serbia.
