Not sure whether the rules allow it but 39 year old Leander Paes could have beaten Kavcic instead of this Vardhan :p

True  But the rules are the highest ranked singles player who was playing doubles got to play. In this case it was Vardhan who sucks lol.

Rules should be every available player plays Blaz until someone beats him. Blaz Kavcic in the 2nd round of a Grass Olympics:o

Better to be lucky than be good:shrug:

Kohli in 2nd round wasn`t easy at all. It`s not Ferrer`s fault in this case to get the draw he finally got

He's vulturing all the easy draws don't ya know. He's too afraid to enter a quarter with difficult opponents so he'll just vulture away at all the SF points he can get:)

im getting tired of these people bitching about ferrer's so called vulturing. Its rediculous especially at a tournament like this and in a thread that really should have no mention of him at all

I think most of us, except Mark Lenders and such are joking:p

I like Ferrer:)

this thread sort of has to do with him, he's the next opponent of Kavcic, people always talk about players next opponent in the results thread

Some of them are just being sarcastic and mocking Lenders and NoleRules.

I was at this match and Blaz played really well. Obviously a lot of that was down to his opponent but Blaz seized this opportunity with both hands and ran with it. He served well today, chose the right moments to be patient and when to be aggressive and hit some sublime backhand winners down the line. For someone who hates grasscourts, he looked very comfortable out there and his movement was fine. When he won on his 2nd MP, he let out a roar like he had won the gold medal which was great to see. The crowd were mainly Indians and there was only a small number of Slovenians and me supporting Blaz. When he came off the court, I asked if I could take his picture and congratulated him on his win. He really is one of the friendliest guys on the tour.

I have tickets for Court 1 tomorrow and Blaz is the last match on there so I will get to see him again. I'm not expecting him to beat Ferrer but today was a good experience for him and I hope he can use that tomorrow. :yeah:
