Which of these players will snap the losing streak first?

Bernard tomic - on a 7 match losing streak and perhaps surprisingly he's not recorded a win on grass this year

Donald young - 15 match losing streak. Very similar season to last year when he went on this losing streak before coming alive for a couple weeks but has done nothing since. Tons of points to defend

Vasek pospisil - has done well on the challenger circuit and qualifying but on the main tour he is 0-11 this year.

which of these guys do you think will snap the losing streak first?

Spadea is in reach.

But then one of the players might withdraw, so it wouldn't count as a win for the other guy :p

Hopefully Tomic will never snap the losing streak. Vasek should do it from time to time. I don't know what to say about Young... he's been mugging around for too much so he should win a match in the next 2-3 weeks

Too bad Capdeville beat Kunitsyn this week, was hoping he would break Spadea's infamous record.

On the main tour, Tomic will be the first to snap out of it most likely.

What is Spadea's record?

What is Spadea's record?

21 straight losses. Young is "only" on 15, but he is already better at R1 losses as Spadea had a few 'byes to the 2nd in addition to three team tennis losses in his streak.

^ Beat me to it, but yeah, Spadea's is 21. Young is closing in on that quite fast. He's only still around 60 because of his efforts late in the years. Honestly, he deserves it, or at least, his coach-parents do. He was doing well under a USTA coach. They required that the parents stay out, but his coach-mom couldn't keep their hands off of his career. Now look at the fruits of their labor. 0-15 with no more piggyback rides.

I think Tomic will be the first to snap his streak. He can at least admit to the fact that he's been dicking around. That's a good step if he's to re-tool his game and un-tool his attitude.

I sure hope it's NOT Tomic or Young. I want Young to break that Spadea record . Then I'd seen it all.

Tomic has lost to better players than Young (generally), so probably him. Poposil's done alright at Challengers so he'll probably snap out of it eventually.

Fuck it'd be hilarious if one of them broke Spaeda's record though.

Will losing in qualifying rounds count, or just the actual tournaments.

Both Tomic and Young will be playing the Canada and Cincy qualifiers so those streaks will prob. be snapped before the US Open

Interesting question. For Spadea, it wasn't a question, as he was still ranked high enough at the end of his streak to enter MD without qualifying.

They don't count. Vasek qualified for a grass event, I think it was Eastbourne, and he's still at 11 straight losses
