I'd loved an early upset :). nole_no1 07-29-2012, 06:46 PM Nole tanked a set for the crowd to be even more entertained :D The Bulldog 07-29-2012, 06:48 PM  Funny score line. And for sure Cilic/Hewitt is tougher than Istomin/Mugler so keep trying Falla is way tougher on grass. And Benneteau is way tougher for Federer than Roddick, although I reckon Roddick is way tougher for Nole than Benneteau. Federer in 2 07-29-2012, 07:31 PM , Alex, but http://www.atpworldtour.com/Rankings/Singles.aspx Yup. It seems Uniqlo were onto something from his and Kei's outfits. How the BBC decided to show Tomug is beyond me . I'd fire these so called 'journalists' for being so ignorant Time Violation 07-29-2012, 07:59 PM Well, I myself was frustrated I couldn't see Novak's all new glorious blue shirt. It seems Uniqlo were onto something from his and Kei's outfits. How the BBC decided to show Tomug is beyond me . Uniqlo is doing a great job so far :) One has to wonder though, what kind of over the top shirt would ST produce for Olympics, but I guess the world just wasn't ready  Orka_n 07-29-2012, 08:04 PM Fogmeister giving Nole a scare before returning to his normal too-relaxed-for-tennis self. :) Whiznot 07-29-2012, 09:27 PM screw olympics when they allow Nole to play in front of an empty stadium I didn't see the match. Did they actually play in front of the stadium??? samanosuke 07-29-2012, 09:29 PM Fog played better in collecting few games against Fed in Wimby than today. It says all about quality of this match sylacauga 07-29-2012, 09:37 PM Uniqlo is doing a great job so far :) One has to wonder though, what kind of over the top shirt would ST produce for Olympics, but I guess the world just wasn't ready  I agree that Nole looked damn good in his Olympic outfit. Now that's the proper way an Olympic athlete should be dressed. A simple, stylish design that emphasizes the country's colors without resorting to distracting, crazy patterns & symbols. Nole's game, on the other hand, did not present itself as well apart from his serve. He seemed to be having trouble finding the range on his forehand and return in particular. I think this had a lot to do with his poor movement on the surface, but things seemed to be clicking better as the match progressed. He'll need to continue to improve if his draw holds to form. Ridiculous court coverage . tell me about it bud. still so pissed I wasn't able to see the match. :o ... I'm getting over it. I assume that the Nole/Roddick match will be scheduled on Court 28  so I'll miss that too ... Fireballer 07-29-2012, 09:51 PM Fog played better in collecting few games against Fed in Wimby than today. It says all about quality of this match of course he did.But Fed' greatness somehow managed to beat him RForever 07-29-2012, 10:04 PM I didn't see the match. Did they actually play in front of the stadium??? :superlol: Lee 07-29-2012, 10:06 PM court 1 was not too empty in the beginning. When the match started after more than 2 hours of rain delay, I think it's about 70-80% but after the other rain delay, most people gave up. BigJohn 07-29-2012, 10:08 PM screw olympics when they allow Nole to play in front of an empty stadium It's a conspiracy, right? :) Time Violation 07-29-2012, 10:13 PM It's a conspiracy, right? :) Get a room you two :p Gagsquet 07-29-2012, 10:14 PM :haha: Djoko lost a set to Fognini. What's next, losing a set to Groove ? BigJohn 07-29-2012, 10:22 PM Get a room you two :p Making fun of the spiritual connection between me and munZe... Jealous? What if you're the one I'm really eying ;) I'll even top if that is what it needs. On a more serious note, did you snap out of it yet? Or are you just a relapse waiting to happen should you relive emotions from a couple of weeks ago? :p Honestly 07-29-2012, 10:28 PM :haha: Djoko lost a set to Fognini. What's next, losing a set to Groove ? :haha: No offense Groove but that was pretty funny. NID 07-29-2012, 10:52 PM outfit - good. everything else - horrid. surface, djokovic, fogna, you name it... they should have played on some hc next to olympic village. this 'grass' is not good enough, nor close enough. MinioNole 07-29-2012, 11:09 PM That was quite a scare for both players. The surface was slippery as hell. BigJohn 07-29-2012, 11:18 PM That was quite a scare for both players. The surface was slippery as hell. Same surface and conditions for everyone. Plus, Nole is so good at sliding on court, it should be an advantage really. Paylu2007 07-30-2012, 01:35 AM That was quite a scare for both players. The surface was slippery as hell. They should ban grass, those conditions are risky to the players and can cause serious injuries!! we only want red clay as surface! Yolita 07-30-2012, 01:45 AM :haha: Djoko lost a set to Fognini. What's next, losing a set to Groove ? Losing a set to anybody after having 3 consecutive MPs. BroTree123 07-30-2012, 02:07 AM :haha: Djoko lost a set to Fognini. What's next, losing a set to Groove ? Just fuck off . Both the Fog and JG are good players. JG is still a work-in progress, so who knows how good he can get. Roddick has a chance vs. this Djokovic. Pretty sure he doesn't  tommyg6 07-30-2012, 02:13 AM A guy like Djokovic shouldn't have dropped a set against the Fog. I would go far as to say that 1st set he dropped was out of compassion. kutafon 07-30-2012, 02:21 AM he dropped a tb set for crying out loud nole=just like a boss Slade 07-30-2012, 03:59 AM Maybe 'Dick can take a set if he serves well. :D This match reminds me of Stepanek vs Djo in Wimby. The result was inevitable. I'm still not convinced that he can beat Murray yet. retister 07-30-2012, 09:55 AM From hero to zero. This guy has been rubbish in tight situations this whole year. Talk about folding like a cheap tent every time he has to serve for the set or save a bp :( EliSter 07-30-2012, 11:07 AM Solid play from Nole. Better losing set to Fog then mug Falla.Fed is afterall best player in world and King of grass. leng jai 07-30-2012, 11:09 AM How is losing a set to the Fog on grass better than losing one to Falla? Johnny Groove 07-30-2012, 11:16 AM :haha: Djoko lost a set to Fognini. What's next, losing a set to Groove ? Maybe  Just fuck off . Both the Fog and JG are good players. JG is still a work-in progress, so who knows how good he can get. Pretty sure he doesn't  Thanks for the defense :yeah: I dunno, man. On this grass, vs. this Djokovic, in best of 3? After winning 2 titles in the last 6 weeks or so? With that serve? So long as he navigates past Klizan, Roddick has at least a puncher's chance. How is losing a set to the Fog on grass better than losing one to Falla? Just another manifestation of tard wars. tripwires 07-30-2012, 11:26 AM Eli, Roger's ranking indicates that he is, in fact, the best player in the world. :D Sent from my iPhone using VS Free TigerTim 07-30-2012, 11:30 AM Federer has just been keeping no.1 warm for 290 weeks waiting for Ferrer, the true GOAT to make his move, beginning with Olympic gold Having won Acupulco, the 5th slam :rocker2: Hian-GOAT 07-30-2012, 03:14 PM http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5nz9fshcS1rybdyvo1_250.gif Some brilliant shots by PsychoGOATgnini, as always. | |
