WWW LosAngeles Final: Querrey[2] vs Berankis[Q] ?

Both coming back from injury.
Can Berankis become the first player this season to win his maiden ATP Tour title?

...Querrey, the 6 ft 6 American tournament favorite (winner of 6 ATP Tour tournaments, including one ATP500, Career high N°17), received a Bye in the 1st round,
while Berankis, the just 5 ft 9 Lithuanian youngster (a Junior USO winner and Junior year-end N°1 in 2007), had to fight through the qualies to reach the first ATP tour level final of his career.
(In a way a match-up like "Goliath vs. David".)

The lineup of this year's LosAngeles tournament (which was completely overshadowed by the Olympics), featuring no players inside the top 50, at least on paper was the worst for an ATP250, that I have ever seen.
(In fact, many ATP Challengers feature much higher ranked seeds.)
So much the better, that two of the arguably most underrated participants made it to the final to "save" this edition of the event.

Wrong, interesting matchup, better than 70% of clay finals this year.

Itīs just my personal view, I know nothing of Berankis, donīt really like watching Querrey, and the Olympics are so close to my own time zone. So there. Nothing personal against either player.

Yes, not knowing the players is a perfect reason to decide that the match will be not interesting :)

Both could certainly use this win. I guess I'll pull slightly for Berankis but this is Querrey's match to lose.

I think its a good match as long as Berankis isn't just happy to be there. First final against a few time champ..
