True.

It's because David is a crowd favourite, and Monaco is top 10 now. Valid decision.

first part is incorrect and second part is tragic

Well Monaco is #10 now but Ferrer is on Court 2, so yeh it's a bit weird. Likewise, Tsonga is going on Centre Court while Nole on Court 1. I guess the ITF guys are going to rotate the top seeds throughout the rounds, something the AELTC guys rarely do.

Ah yes, you are right, seen as there aren't any crowds at Wimbledon for the Olympics.

Perhaps it is a tragedy of sorts, but often the greatest success stories arise from the flames of disaster. David could do just that.

david has to take advantage of this draw no matter where it is. Monaco's worst surface is grass..the fact that he did so well at wimbledon this year is a bit of a joke

monaco is heavily over ranked and david has to win this one

Goffin is a rock star and I hope he wins this one.

I would be a bit mad if I got tickets for Court 1 tomorrow. I mean, why Monaco there instead of Ferrer, the number 4 seed, or Roddick, loved by the Brits and 3-time finalist. But I guess Monaco's dream run at Wimby this year to 3rd round against very tough opponents and his degree of popularity sure justifies this scheduling.
Not to forget they could've put some good doubles match there with some big names involved.

Slay that Mugnaco, David.

I have a bigger problem with Djokovic/Fongini being scheduled on C1, while Tsonga is playing on CC (if anybody can help me understand some logic behind this I'd appreciate it). whatever. no, I'm not saying this as his fan, it just doesn't make any sense to me. plus, it looks like it'll be raining all day long in London, so this match won't even happen today.

Djokovic v Fognini has started, so you were a little over pessimistic!

Wow, plenty of better and more interesting matches to display. But, yeah, this are just some of the consequences and sort of things that happen when players of Monaco's calibre reach the top 10  Whatever, just hope Goffin pulls the win, never bad to see one of the most boring players in the world lose.
