No,sports-wise I couldnt care less who wins it.Well, I had little money put on Djokovic, but it is only money, I had lost money before and will lose it after Olympics.

Mostly I just wanted good close matches starting from quarters / semis, but we all know what happens in Federer-Tipsa QF.( 5-0 ) We all know what happens in Fed- Ferrer semifinal(13-0 !)

.His bitches may as well shake hands after warmup .

And I´m not admiring those movie "Lifetime achievement awards" either, it is kinda lame.

Maybe Isner can pull through and play Roger in the quarters. If his serve is clicking you never know what'll happen.

It's official - I'm now the one and only GOAT!

Has there ever been a more accurate prediction of a draw on MTF?

Technically you didn't give a prediction but merely what you hoped: "For me this is the best"
But still pretty good. ;)

Isner has only ever beaten one man at Wimbledon, why do you think he will do better now? Tipsarevic is more likely.

Tipsarevic has played a lot in last two weeks, too much I think.

Nalbandian will be very motivated and can defeat him.

And yes Isner can reach the quarters, esp. with that draw. Two-setters is better for him although no tie-break in third set is not good for him

A Federer Fan's Prayer

by Corey Feldman

Our Federer, who art in Wimbledon,
Glory be thy name,
Thy #1 ranking come,
Thy win be done,
This fortnight, and also on august.
Give us these wins, our daily prayer,
And forgive us for asking so much of you,
As we forgive those who doubt and belittle you.
Do not bring us less than the championship and the gold,
And deliver us from ghosts of losses past.
Amen.

Might agree if it's Isner or Raonic in question (but not even them since they are not particulary good grass players) but Muller having a chance is out of the question.I'd be surprised if he gets to 1 TB actually, assuming he plays Fed which he won't,he will lose earlier.Muller's return and ground game suck horribly compared to basically any top 50 player, let alone Fed.And his serve isn't that good. You can be cautious, but no need to be paranoid,Federer will reach the final very much more than likely.

Sorry Nole-fans, but Djokovic is going out in R2 or the QFs... No way is he reaching the semis with this draw.

Federer has an excellent chance of reaching the final, although ROFL at him possibly facing Falla and Benneteau (the two players he's come from two sets to love down against at Wimbledon and won) back-to-back.

Murray has a tough draw. Wawrinka shouldn't be too difficult on grass, but Gasquet and Berdych will surely pose a threat.

Honestly I expect a repeat of the Wimbledon final, but I wouldn't be too surprised if Tsonga managed to get there instead of Murray.

What a fucking joke. As usually Federer received a cake draw and Nole gets all the dangerous opponents on his side. This is hilarious really. Tennis is such a joke these days. :rolls:

Time to turn this around and say that this is the ONLY draw that gives Novak a chance to win the tournament. We saw what happened recently when he faced Roger after few easy matches. This way he has a chance to get into highest form while Rog sleepwalks to the final.
Even then he wouldn't be a favorite, but he would at least have some chance.
Anyway, better to lose to Tsonga, for example, than to be spanked again by a pensioner :)

This is so true. :o One of the most lopsided draws I've ever seen at a big event in men's tennis, really.

If Federer had to chose his first couple of rounds he'd never ever pick Falla - Benneteau.

One needs to be a moron to believe it's rigged, srsly

Why not Kubot, Rochus, Jaziri, Pospisil, Lacko, Kavcic, Kukushkin, DONALD Young, Daecis, Bogomolov, Berlocq, Soeda, Devvarman, Ito, Tursunov, Goffin, Klizan, Fognini?

Federer has the worst draw in the first 2 rounds and from round 3 up it would inevitably be players in form enough to be in 3rd round, so the "good fixed draw" bullcrap is just

I am glad to see you have faith in Federers ability to win against lower ranked opponents, and I am sure one of these days you will learn how to spell his name correctly. Don't give up! Names can be tricky to get right. Your own, for instance. What is it short for? My best guess is:"Many Tennis wins? Eeeeehhh....Zero, infact".

It's not so much of a problem here, as it's BO3 on grass. Most guys could score an upset.

The Serb defeats at RG to Nadal and Wimbledon to Federer certainly have left a severe bitterness for you.

Federer's draw could have several problems potentially; Falla who nearly beat him over 5 sets at Wimbledon, Benneteau who recently nearly beat him over 5 sets at Wimbledon and Isner who has just won the last grass court tournament.

PS If you have a signature you need to keep it up to date.

It's only the OG though, not a big deal, if it was the same draw in the USO i would be agree whith you, even if Nole loose early, he would be the clear favorite in Montréal and snatch more points overall than Fed.

That is a good point. Roddick might actually do Djokovic a favor, at least so long as ranking points goes.

Cakewalk draw for Fed/Nole:
mug > mug > Verdasco > Del Potro/Tipsarevic > Ferrer

Nightmare draw:
Karlovic > Raonic > Cilic > Berdych(for Fed)/Tsonga(for Nole) > Murray

For me this is the best:

Federer - Verdasco
Tipsarevic - Monaco

Del Potro - Simon
Ferrer - Nishikori

Murray - Gasquet
Berdych - Isner

Tsonga - Almagro
Djokovic - Cilic

I looked at the schedule for first day and it isn`t one particular half that`s playing. For instance Federer/Falla and Berdych/Darcis are on opening day and both matches are on opposite halves.
Making a perfect schedule is always tricky here as a lot of top singles guys are also into doubles.
For instance Murray will play alongside his brother also on Saturday.
The way i see things,it`s tough to predict anything in this tournament as a lot of guys will play both singles and doubles on the same day.
Djokovic isn`t scheduled to play anything tomorrow so probably Sunday he will do double duty

yes, at least that must explain why Djokovic doesn't play his doubles first round on saturday.

Generally speaking, according to what I saw, they decided the doubles schedule for saturday considering the number of players in each doubles match who played singles and started on saturday, but considering that Djoko-Troicki's match might have been played on saturday : it seems that the fact that he held the flag in the ceremony played a role here.

A few players will play both doubles and singles on saturday though, when there's only one player concerned in the doubles match : Nalbandian, Isner, Ferrer ... and Benneteau who said in an article which someone posted that he wanted to take part in the opening ceremony anyway even if he played on saturday morning : eventually he will play 2 matches on saturday

I also say that because I've seen that Benneteau has become a major "hope" in this tournament for some

On sunday several players will play both singles and doubles ... and even more on monday and tuesday as there will be two doubles rounds these days.

Anyway, let's hope it doesn't rain too much for the scheduling. The latter forecast look a little bit better although there will be some rain during the tournament for sure.
