Routine win.
Atlanta QF: Roddick def. Russell 6-3 6-4RoddickFan88 07-21-2012, 12:27 AM Routine win. tennisfan856 07-21-2012, 12:28 AM Russell's returning strategy in this match was terrible. He was staying inside the baseline on Andy's first serves. Don't know who gave him that advice, but that's where he really lost the match as he always has to work for his service games. leng jai 07-21-2012, 12:31 AM Roddick is the real vulture these days. Pics should learn from him. tripwires 07-21-2012, 05:03 AM Andy. deyaT87 07-21-2012, 11:35 AM :yeah: Andy go for the title Slade 07-21-2012, 11:51 AM Win the title 'Dick Johnny Groove 07-21-2012, 12:30 PM Roddick is the real vulture these days. Better to be a vulture than a clown, eh? Burrow 07-21-2012, 12:34 PM Better to be a vulture than a clown, eh? Roddick is one of the few (in comparison to other MTF members' standards) players I'd actually label as a clown, for what he did to his own playing style which worked. Truly mind boggling. Allez 07-21-2012, 12:41 PM The comeback gathers pace :worship: Fumus 07-21-2012, 12:44 PM Roddick is one of the few (in comparison to other MTF members' standards) players I'd actually label as a clown, for what he did to his own playing style which worked. Truly mind boggling. Definition of a tennis clown is either a) a choker one who can't handle big moments and folds under the pressure or b) someone who isn't truly committed to tennis...lacking work ethic or drive. Roddick has clearly shown he is neither a) nor b). Truly mind boggling. Pretty much had to change his playing style due to his shoulder issues. That serve comes with a hefty price methinks. Roddick has none unfortunately. tommyg6 07-21-2012, 01:31 PM http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Ay18wK6WKR8/TiWOry_keDI/AAAAAAAAABo/yszvaGnVf6E/s1600/vulture4.jpg has struck again!!! jcempire 07-21-2012, 01:53 PM 30 years old Roddick Burrow 07-21-2012, 05:28 PM Pretty much had to change his playing style due to his shoulder issues. That serve comes with a hefty price methinks. It had absolutely nothing to do with shoulder issues. He was still bombing serves in 2005, playing passively, as well as 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and on and on... Burrow 07-21-2012, 05:29 PM Definition of a tennis clown is either a) a choker one who can't handle big moments and folds under the pressure or b) someone who isn't truly committed to tennis...lacking work ethic or drive. Roddick has clearly shown he is neither a) nor b). Sorry, I was unaware that MTF had defined the word "clown". He's a clown for changing a winning game style.
