Last year's finalists Lindstedt/Tecau vs Mirnyi/Nestor in the QF will be tough to call. Then either the AO champions or the Indians in the SF. The top half is loaded.

Bryans definitely have an easier draw. They better not screw this up.

Odd pairing of Doud with Cerretani. But they should win their first match.

Cipo and Fognini should lose though

They definitely have an easy draw (not even easier, actually easy). But I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Clément/Llodra make a deep run here as a farewell for Arnaud.

Monday 26 June:

Mirnyi/Nestor bt Russell/Young 4-6 6-0 6-2 6-1
Bracciali/Knowle bt Ball/Bellucci 7-5 7-6 6-3
Dodig/Melo bt Fisher/Kerr 6-7 6-4 6-4 6-3

I wouldn't count Italian doubles GOAT Bracciali and Knowle out if I were you, expect a close match with Tecau and Lindstedt if they advance too. However, would be a nice opportunity for both teams.

It's really weird.

What happened to the Llodra Zimonjic pairing?

From Lindsted's blog (google translate):

Nenad and Mika does not play here because Llodra and his wife are expecting a baby any day now, so Nenead would not be likely to need the leave wo and therefore chose them to play with different partners here.

I liked the other reason better though :)

Brayns lead Llodra/Clement 7-6 6-4 2-2

It's been a fun match, pretty light-hearted. I don't think Llodra has too many expectations, he's just happy to be there. Loved his attempt at a Bryan-style chest bump. Made Clement feel really awkward.

From what is happening right now, Lindstedt/Tecau can't be stopped till the final. Bracciali/Knowle are down one set an 1-4 in the second set.

6-4 6-2 6-4 for the number 5 favorites. Not a very tough opposition at all, as I was expecting.

The H2H 5-0 sets for Melz/Petz (Wimbledon and London) and L/T's good form cancel each other out for the bookies. M/P had a good result yesterday considering their ridiculous 3-6 1-6 loss in RG to Dodig/Melo. The Elgin/Istomin win looked also good until 64 64 *43, so I'm not without hope.
