Forecast looks good, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday.:)

Yeah, Tuesday and Wednesday thankfully look very good. Tomorrow might see a bit of a slow start, but should be good too.

I'll be there for sure on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure if I want to go half a day tomorrow.

Dani got as good of a draw as he could ask for to qualify. Will it matter? We'll see. De Schepper vs Clement is the favorite in that section.

Simone got a good draw and should qualify.

Fred has a passable draw, not good but not bad. I think going against Dasnieres is 50-50. Broady/Fabbiano is dangerous, and then Ilhan/Rufin/Udomchoke/Weintraub isn't great. He'll probably fail to qualify, but hopefully he can win two matches.

Michi has a good draw to qualify if he's healthy, but Sweeting has a decent shot at him in QR3. I can see Alex Kuznetsov beating Sweeting.

Florent has an OK draw. His R2 will be tough to win regardless of the opponent. If he gets through his R2 he should have a decent shot at qualifying. But I don't think he's going to do it. Hope he proves me wrong.

Brian has a very good draw, IMO, but I can see Gremelmayr/Millot potentially causing him problems. He still should qualify with that section.

If Russell beats Lammer, he can maybe qualify. But I don't really think he can do it. Hopefully he manages.

Levine vs Mannarino is a sad R1 match. Don't know who I want to win that, but probably Jesse, although if Adrian won, he could recover his ranking.

The final section in the draw is definitely the toughest on paper, very competitive matches.

A lot of people, on this board and other boards, are actually picking Florent to qualify. I don't see it. I definitely don't see him beating Smyczek. And he could easily lose to both Jouan or Zverev. But the fact people think he can qualify boosts my spirits.

He is really the only player that matters here. If Florent fails to qualify, the tournament fails to be relevant.

I forgot to add this to my first post in this thread, but I hope Gaba can qualify but I honestly expect him to lose to Mertens. I see zero shot of him qualifying, Lajovic/Wang in R2 would be very difficult, and then Bubka/Bautista/Ginepri. But if he did qualify it would show he's in good form, so maybe he'll pull off the shocker.

I'm simply happy my favorites are all in different sections. But I don't see many of them qualifying. I expect many upsets. And probably some shitty players will make QR3 and potentially qualify.

So, where can find live scores for Qualies?

Matches have started, it's not raining, but the livescoring isn't even available on the Wimbledon website by the looks of it. That's really, really poor if that's the case, or maybe we're missing/not seeing something.

Eaton is a strong opponent on british grass, this guy only plays four or five weeks good stuff in the year and that is the on the grass, but Mitchell losing to a guy like Thornley few weeks ago (good in doubles, but honestly a clown in in the singles) ....so not a big surprise that he is losing to Eaton!

I'm not surprised that he's losing either. Grass is probably Eaton's best surface and it looks like Mitchell can't play on natural surfaces at all (his clay results have been quite bad too).

Bolelli was lucky to escape against Burquier. The Frenchman was very aggressive, up a break in the second set but served like shit. I do think Bolelli deserved the win, but it could have easily ended differently. I really liked the Frenchman though!

Liam Broady is goddamn hot in person  But the match wasn't that great.

Lajovic was a major disappointment. Very erratic performance.

Alves vs. Yang was claycourt tennis  At least the Taiwanese sometimes tried to go to the net, but Alves was pounding away from the baseline. It's a rare match in which the Brazilian gets overpowered almost continuously though. Yang had really, really crisp shots, but then followed by the worst mishits possible. Reminiscent of Fernando Gonzalez on a bad day. It's actually sad that Alves got through. Quite undeservedly.

The few games I saw of Baker vs. Albot and Bautista-Agut vs. Bambridge were pretty boring. The winners were just too solid, but not at all impressive. Baker isn't moving well on grass. Some beautiful backhands down the line though.

Crivoi losing to Felder is a disgrace :sobbing: I think Felder is one of the worst players I have ever seen. He has a lot of spirit, and to his credit he made almost no unforced errors today, but he was consistently outplayed by Crivoi, except for when Felder sometimes approached the net. But Felder ran everything down and forced Vic to make mistakes. Crivoi's movement on grass is terrible and he has no way of dealing with the low bounce. He shouldn't have come here in the first place.

Grigelis vs. Veic was not at all as one-sided as the scoreline suggests. The Lithuanian has a very nice game, but I expected him to be more aggressive and to approach the net. I'm not a fan of Veic, but Grigelis had the rudest support group I have ever encountered at a tennis match. This fat Lithuanian bastard kept cheering and applauding UEs, even double faults, in order to provoke a reaction from Veic. And with the Croat that really isn't too difficult. It served its purpose, but I wanted to punch fatty in the face. Oh and the match itself was pretty good, especially when you contrast it to the scrubfest of Capkovic vs. Skugor on the adjacent court.

Saw some games of De Schepper vs. Clément and it was pretty terrible on both sides. De Schepper is boring to watch, and Arnaud was the less bad player when I had to leave. But oh well.

Should be there for the whole day tomorrow :inlove: It's such a great venue. Hadn't been in two years, and it's nice to see how they changed things around. There is now an electronic scoreboard for the first time. And there's seating on both sides for the four main courts (2x2).

If Sweeting loses to this mug Robert on grass he should retire from tennis today.

7-5 Serra over Jouan

Was up 5-*3 30-0 but at least he won the set.

Robert, if he was in shape, could beat Sweeting. But this version of Robert, the broken down version, is a must-win for Ryan.

Very long break in the Brugues-Bemelmans match. Maybe the scoreboard is down there.

Ram 7-6(6)

Salamanca had the minibreak throughout most of the breaker. Most people love Rampras, but I honestly cannot stand his game. I like him as a guy, but don't like him overall. Good comeback from him, though.

Peter was the one who had the chances in Wayne's service games. Disappointing.

When's the QR3 played? Tomorrow or Thursday?

Polasnky doesn't seem like a good grass player which is why I didn't think he would win this match over Odesnik.

Robert started both sets with a break over Sweeting but couldn't hold them, and then got broken again in both sets. Too bad he sucks now, although I hate his game, Sweeting is annoying.
