Very intrested in the list. Hamburg tried to make it a grass tournament this year, but was denied by the ATP. So lets see who will play there on Clay...

Why no SE's?

Would've been interesting on grass. Decent list but for a 500 it could be much better.

I think there are only 250´s week before and this is 500 so that is reason, but I could be wrong.

It is a shame it isn´t on grass, because if it would be, I can imagine big names playing here.

Better than expected, but for the Tournament it would have been way better on Grass, because then the Top players might have played here.#

WC for Haas and Kamke if they don't get a direct entry....

I'm thankful that this has been demoted to a 32 draw event, if it had stayed as a 48 draw, with all the calendar congestion this year, the entry list could have been quite messy.

I am a bit confused now. Will there be only three Wild Cards? On the tournament website they say that Kamke and Stebe are receiving the "last two wild cards". The WC for Tommy Haas had already been announced.

28 main draw players are listed on the website. Chela (who obviously is out) is still on the list. Cipolla also is. If there are only three WCs, Kamke would replace Chela and his WC could go to someone else.

I am a bit confused now. Will there be only three Wild Cards? The extra wild card is reserved for a commitment player. If no commitment player is available, the next alternate will be moved to the main draw.

Kamke in and Stebe as well when the commitment player WC is deleted. Wonder who will be the new WCs? Bachinger, Brands, Brown, Berrer? Gojowczyk would have been a decent choice. But he is in the qualy draw.
