It was Fed-Murray in 2010 there, and Nadal´s draws have been sorta hard. He got Ferrer, not Berdych or Tsonga and Almagro in QF, who gives him trouble

He also was last year before going down to his first tight matchs against Monfils. But Murray and Gasquet seems both a good match up for him on clay this time (for Gasquet everywhere actually). Ferru had an easy draw for reaching this QF, he'll be fresh.

He´s not as bad as everyone says here. he´s unlucky as hell. He drew Melzer and Soderling the year of their big runs and Monfils, who he can´t beat

Ferrer was very impressive again. Has had a really strong tournament so far and I'm looking forward to seeing him take on Murray or Gasquet.

are you serious? the outcome of murray against nadal at any slam is predictable as hell but on clay he'd be even more of a walkover than ferrer.

Both Murray and Ferrer are capable of taking at least a set off Nadal if not more but they'll probably choke.

Nothing against Granollers but that's hilarious indeed, almost as fun as the grunting he does when he comfortably gets to a drop shot that bounced too high just to push it over the net!

Awesome Ferru, Muzza has limited chances against him. The drop shot - lob thing won't work against this guy's speed and he's pretty much doomed in anykind of longer rallie.

I think Ferru is the only one right now able to make Rafa sweat. A lot.

so what? When Fed goes to the finals and loses to Nadal, it sucks because it's happened before and Fed's got 16 slam trophies and already a pile of runner-up plates. For David it would be a career high. Bittersweet, I guess, but better than never making a final, imho.
