Go Haas and Agassi :)

Neely

tommy haas needs no luck..he will win easily
I hope so, bad gambler... but the problem is that Ollie Rochus is no stranger to picking on the kind of player that Haas is. Rochus does everything to retrieve all balls and Haas will mostly try to gun him off the court with pure power.
Of course, this is a big chance for Haas to make the semifinal until meeting a better ranked player, but sometimes Rochus can be an extremely uncomfortable player :scared:

I hope Haas gets the job done, I want to see another Haas vs Agassi match :)

10-29-2004, 12:11 PM
i think haas will win this tournament

i think haas will win this tournament
I'd take that, that would be cool :smoke: :)

But Haas' pathetic perfomance in Madrid against Dent who is mostly calculable in his actions with his constant serve and volley or chip and charge doesn't give me much hope that Haas can beat somebody of the calibre like Agassi, Pavel or the two Johanssons right now...

But maybe things are going better for him this week, he certainly has everything that is needed to win against these players!

Haas def. Ollie Rochus 6-3 7-6(4)

from watching the scoreboard it wasn't the most impressive win in the 2nd set squandering all these breaks and falling behind in the tiebreak, but he made the semifinal of another tournament this year and nobody can take away this great accomplishment from him anymore.

Corey Feldman
10-29-2004, 02:19 PM
Oli's serve is so crap..... he'd be a top 25 player with any decent kinda serve :smash:

When begins it? It has to start now?

I cannot tell for whom i am. Pimpim is better, so he deserves to win, and he has the better chances to win this tournament, but Ryderstedt it will help so big to get to the semis. He will make a big jump in the rankings to nearly 150 i think. With the QF he will reach the Top 200 for 1st time! Congrats to that!

Do u remember? Last year? Pimpim from nearly out of nowwhere to the QF and now 11 in the world! Maybe we will see Ryderstedt next year this far! But for real, Pimpim has a great talent and Ryderstedt only good talent.

Oh, it has began now, 4 easy points for Pimpim. But no ace!!!

an underserved set for agassi, sorry to say that
yes, indeed very surprising to read that from you as an Agassi fan. Normally you would say "Agassi makes the points when it counts and his experience wins for him against a young player like Verdasco".

Can only mean you had a punt on Verdasco...

Can someone please recommend a good tennis offshore book that cancels wagers for any retirement? I use 5Dimes and I'm tired of losing on guys who get injured and have to quit during a match. Thanks.

funny how pavel was "winnning his games very easily" but then ends up losing the set...how can that be?

Chris-swede
10-29-2004, 08:00 PM
I think that is also quite normal that u then can lose the tiebreak, u know that u had ur chances and then not use them. In a tiebreak everything can happen.
