Not a bad thing to move up, though I am still a bit annoyed with that Simon match :p
Anyway he is definitely in the Olympics, which is very exciting.

At first, I was also annoyed. But if Ryan didn't lose, Brian probably wouldn't have a chance to showcase himself on PC. So it wasn't too bad in that regard. I hope Ryan gets another lecture from his dad though :(.

If he's still in the Top 60 after LA, then he should be fine for the rest of the year...

However, he SHOULD be able to stay in the Top 50, just saying lol.

Hopefully by FO next year he can be seeded.

Ryan is now the No.4 American, still ranked 48 on the ATP Ranking though. If you are interested in how he is doing relative to other Americans, please visit my other thread: Monthly ATP Rankings Updates: Top 15, U21, U18 (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=201749).

42 on ATP live rankings as of today. If he can manage to beat Isner, he will be in the top 40.

Only for a short time since he has 90 points to defend at Atlanta and another 90 at LA.

True, but maybe he will defend them. I think he could win L.A. No one is in the tournament. Only for a short time since he has 90 points to defend at Atlanta and another 90 at LA.

43, but a huge drop-off the next couple of weeks. The Olympics are really screwing him.

59. 16 point drop after losing in the first round of Atlanta and not playing L.A. I hope he does well in the Olympics and gets a good U.S. Open draw, because he really blew a chance to move up higher in the rankings and get close to the top 30.

He's back up to 81 from 100. If he's does well in Tallahasseee, he could move into the mid-70s. Still pretty far from 43 nine months ago.
