WWW Miami R1: Levine (WC) vs Kunitsyn

Levine broke the top 100 before turning 21; quite young by today's standards. Still only 24, he's been getting his career back on track since September, jumping from 476 then to 133 today.

In that time he has gone 42-5 in Futures, Challengers and qualifying matches. At tour level however, he is 0-5 in that period including losses to Ramos and Kubot.

In Miami he receives his 4th wildcard of the year (also Australian Open, Delray Beach and Indian Wells). Can he finally win his first tour level match since Queen's 2010 (d. Harrison)? He couldn't have got a much better draw than Kunitsyn, who is 2-10 this year (no top 100 wins).

Igor must win this match. This is a must win match for Igor, and if he plays well, he'll win here, as he's the one with the better weapons. He's done well in Miami in the past, and with the courts supposedly playing quicker, it will suit him in this match-up. If he serves well, he wins. I'll say three sets for Kunitsyn.

If Igor loses this match, he will likely fall from the top 100 within a couple of weeks. This is one of the bigger matches of Kunitsyn's career. Hopefully he takes advantage of the draw and seals the victory.
