Will this be the final match of Gonzo's career? Personally, I couldn't care less about the sentimental aspect, I want Mahut to win, he's the one whose career will benefit from taking this match. With that said, Fernando loves Miami, will have crowd support including a large legion of Chilean fans, and we all know he plays his best on the big stages, so this should be a very warm audience for Gonzo, regardless of the result.
The courts are Miami are supposedly playing a bit quicker this season, I think that benefits Mahut in this match-up, he can expose Gonzo's limited mobility and backhand. If he serves well, I think he wins in straights. Gomzo has a bad record against big servers overall and I expect his general lack of match play will show itself.
