Simone is close to the top 100 again and qualifying here and winning a round would just about do it. He appeared to be back in form when he won a challenger in Brazil a while ago but he's crashed out in straight sets his next two tournaments. I am not sure what kind of form Amer is in. what do you think?

It's 50-50. Amer has some good performances in Miami since he sees this as one of his home events and is motivated here. The courts should suit Simone's game but Simone doesn't like playing guys who put the pressure on him, which Amer can do.
Really depends on how Amer serves. If he's serving like he did in Indian Wells and Dallas, Simone should win this.
