This result should make many people here happy. Filippo was average all week and I knew he had to pick it up to win the event. Instead, he played the worst match of his week, although some of that can be attributed to Klizan, who played a powerful match, pushed Pippo around and way behind the baseline into defensive positions pretty easily, used the dropshot a lot and did so very effectively, and served well. Klizan is up to #106 with this title. He's a similar player to Bellucci in many ways so hopefully he can get his ranking into the top 100 and we can see what he's made of at the ATP level.
