Well-played after a sloppy half set in the beginning.

Sloppy from both, but Harrison gets it done.

Too much defense but at the same time, some fantastic defense.

Smart play from Harrison, good counter punching, only aggressive with right opening. GGL much less crisp today, and couldn't hit a overhead to save his life.

The rallies were pretty tough. I did not see too much sloppy play.

GGL felt aroused by the twinkiness of Ryan, couldn't pull off the performance that outed Murray lol.

ggl spent the entire 1st set shitting his pants from nerves. the pressure and weight of expectation after the murray upset really showed.

harrison's speed, stamina and defense were too much. he's going to pose some serious problems for guys who can't put short balls away.

GGL made a few bad errors, such as the shanked overheads, but Ryan was pretty clean.

Ryan's got thick legs. Twinks have toothpicks for legs. To see a twink check out Andre Sa, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Nicholas Mahut or Gilles Simon.

typical García.. is not the first time he upsets a top player only to lose his next match in straights against a lower ranked opponent (see AO 05 & RG 07)

Ryan :bounce:

Who knew he'd defend his fourth round? And Simon this time, not Federer! Hope he can win it.

The Great Grass Lord cares not for these mickey mouse events. He showed his ability when he sent Mugray packing back to the land of Haggis with hardly an effort and grew bored soon thereafter, so he allowed a young gun some glory.

Simon next round is beatable for Ryan. Hope this will be his break-through tournament.

I think he'll always do well at this tournament.

The quick/dry desert air and slow surface bounce helps to set up that "smack the ball back at the body of your opponent as hard as you can" style that's all Ryan's, bay-bay !!

If he can reproduce the same results in Miami's muggy conditions, I'll be really impressed.

Probably because he's one of only a few players under 20 in the top 100, one of three players to ever win a main draw match at 15, and the fact that he's onto round 4 at a Tennis Masters Series event. All of these are no small accomplishments.

To hate on his game so much though, your game must be a lot better one would presume. Why aren't you playing right now at Indian Wells? Are you a retired player who has done a lot more in his career, or are you someone like Brian Baker who showed a lot of potential in juniors and sustained a bunch of injuries?

I look forward to finding out more about your game since you find your game so superior to a 19 year old, top 100 player in the 4th round of IW. :wavey:

I can't remember the last time he defended his points (very inconsistent last year).

Ryan got lucky with the draw. Good for him that he capitalized.

I still hope he loses to Simon :p
