I was in highschool, and was always late to my classes, because I had to get a key to the elavators to get to classes on the upper floors. It was such a pain. I'd sneak and leave my crutches in my car, and hobble up the steps. :) Thank goodness I was younger then, and more oblivious to the pain.

Terror of the squash courts, eh? ;)

I have few too, but now wish I'd gotten an iPod sooner. I'm moving soon and don't know what to do with the collection. It's not that big, but still too big to take with me.

I like the bits and pieces that come with the disc too - the video, the lyrics etc.

Me either, I don't like rap. But Tupac, Eminem - in a league of their own. It's very intense, angry music. You can never have too much angry music. It's so energising. Great for the gym and cleaning sprees:D.

LOL I am always ready for learning something new! I just might not remember anything. And I never did rent that movie the life of Brian after we saw the Holy Grail. Have Neverland waiting for me but too tired to watch a movie tonight. And I assume you now have broadband for the computer?
BTW what does lunfardo mean?

psichogaucho
07-11-2005, 11:50 PM
haha, I don't know the meaning of the word lunfardo....
it's a slang that the gaoles used to speak, to be misunderstood by the guards...Then the tango poets started to use it in their lyrics...

I think I need to study the history of the tango. I only know a little bit and should know more. Easy to do with the internet and/or a library. But tonight is my only night for MTF this week so for a little while I think that I will stay here.
I read the post about Jimmy Hendrix- my littlest guy loves him and does a mean imitation. Started at the age of 6- picture a little curly long haired white kid belting out "Purple Haze"-well at least the words he could remember.

Andy. I loved "Get Smart". His wife has the coolest name: Ninety-nine. I might change my nick to a number one of these days.

And today's hot guy is super-hot. And so wise. I think JPS said something like "Freedom is the liberty to choose your own chains". Don't quote me, or google it, coz it's not exact. But I do love a good soundbite.
