I don't know what year it was released, but it was definitely one of the songs at our 4th form formal (like a semi-prom). I remember it was the first song the DJ played after the fast music and it was the cue to look frantically around the hall for your date (while praying he hadn't ditched you for someone hotter) and start shuffling awkwardly around the dancefloor with him - hoping fervently that none of your body parts touched. Mortifying but ,upon refelction, pretty wonderful :)

Cuz if it is we have rented it and will be watching it this weekend. I was a monty P fan way back when but never saw any of the movies. And a musical on Broadway called Spamalot ( lol) opened based on the movie. I think it is nominated for a ton load of tony's. Ah New York!!!

Actually I cackle. Just like my mom did. And maybe that is why I am referred to as the "wicked witch of the east". (Since I live in New England). Not because I am witchy mind you but because I am a Wizard of Oz fanatic!!! However when my real sarcastic humor comes out, so does my nickname. It has been that way for a number of years.

Hello Andy- I didn't have any insanity at work so I am here for my daily ration- here and in the den of misfits where I fit all too well! The Holy Grail is back on the 3 men in the household are hysterical with laughter.I would rather be here- don't know what that says about me though :smash:

psichogaucho
06-14-2005, 12:23 AM
well, Monty Python has a weird sense of humour...I once tried to watch Holy Grail with my mum, and, while I was laughing she was asking "what happend? why are you laughing?" Useless...
as a matter of fact, my mum doesn't understand the jokes of anything...

I like comedies but they have to be clever, and scifi stuff like the matrix etc. Used to like thrillers suspense stuff but they are now 3rd on my list.

yesterday I was in the kitchen with my cat (Lola) Suddenly we heared a nise in the yard: Lola got nervous, and begun to run from the kitchen window to the bedroom window...I said, "calm down, Lola, it's just the wind" but she didn't. I peered through the window and, wow, a cat there! The yard is sorrounded by a wall, 12 feet tall, there's no way to the cat to escape! It hid in some kind of locker, behind a pile of bricks...I understood my cat: an intruder in its kingdom! So I came out to the yard with a broom, just to try to shock the cat. I hit (softly!) the cat and, finally, it left its hiding place, absolutley angry, you may see an angry cat! It run to my bedroom's window, saw my cat, my cat was also angry, the cat jumped down from the window, saw me again with the broom, jumped (again) to the window, but, at last, it found the door I left open, and, running as hell, left my yard!

I'm so hot Andy. It's like a cauldron here in London. And I'm from Africa, so I know heat - this is HOT :fiery:.
Otherwise, I'm good.

I can't go to SW19 :awww: no tickets. Maybe I'll get lucky and soem will fall into my lap. But I doubt it.

What about you? How's your day been? and how's Lola :cat:?

Well, it's chilling here...um, there's no smiley of cold...
Pity you can't go to wimby...but there's a full coverage from BBC, right?
This afternoon I went to the gym (beefy andy  ) saw a football match (Argentina 4 - Australia 2), and now I'm at my mum's, to dine...
Lola is great, thanks for asking :) (there's a pic of it, some pages ago.... :) )

Yeah the BBc will show alot but I'll be at work. I'll try ot get some time off if Mr Roddick gets past Karlovic (I am very worried about that one)

I saw the highlights of that match - it looks like a lot of fun. Figueroa is he the same one who signed for Birmingham and never kicked a ball and then left? They described him as the next Batistuta :hearts: :lick:

Cool, you're hanging out with your Mum. Is she feeding you? :p

yes: it's that Figueroa...I never understood why he didn't play in England, I thought his way to play fits very well to the english football...

it's about 5º C (I once learned how to translate this to farenheit, but I don't dare!)

We are trying to get you into the chat threads! You are almost at the big time. And I had the equation for changing C TO F but I know it is cold there! BTW I am listening to tango music right now- I have to get to Argentina one of these days. Dance the tango on a plaza-sigh. That would be heaven to me.

psichogaucho
06-21-2005, 12:10 AM
oh, do you like tango? great! :bigclap: when my mum was young she lived in the same building than Edmundo Rivero, maybe the best tango singer...I think my dad married my mum just because that neighbour  (my dasd was really a tango fan -tanguero, in spanish- ;) )

I love the tango. I love to dance but I need to take lessons on tango. I think Hubby and I are going to sign up for private lessons. He is a good dancer too but broke his foot this winter and is afraid

do you have residency in the states?
last year I was in a hospital five days, with a broken fibula...one day came to my bed five or six residents to study my ankle...I feel like if I was in a movie! :)
