This. Also, the title of this thread has "flop" for the wrong player. Despite his freaky health issues, Ginepri has had a career above expectations (US Open semis, the French Open quarters). Malisse hasn't even done as much in his career - that's what you call a flop. X doesn't care at least half the time.

Ginepri didn't reach FO QF, but reached R4 a couple of times - they've actually had incredibly similar careers, former top 20 players, one epic career-defining SF run, a couple of decent MS results (Ginepri with more), a bunch of slam 4Rs (X with more of these, really should have made a further QF, almost as bad as Gasquet and Boredo in that regard) and 3 titles apiece.
