how long does it take for the moderators to approve of a new user so they can start posting? my friend told me that her account has been taking ages? :confused:

as soon as she has her e-mail, usually you get it at once, there's a link in it. And then you can start posting

yep, she has it. but they said she is in the moderators' queue to get approved

it took a day for me to get approved

Takes 48 hours on average sometimes longer though.
