Ito was diabolical. Tomic was hitting clean winners all match but stuffed up the bagel in the 2nd set hitting unforced errors serving for the match at 5-0.

It was a masterful display of serving, just when I thought his game couldn't get any better. I felt sorry for his helpless opponent, but it was nice of The Dogg to give him a couple of mercy games toward the end. I'm glad he's finally playing well in his home state. m9m9m9m9m9 01-04-2012, 01:00 PM there are literally millions of Japanese with that last name.. Tomic looks like starting to show some consistency dispatching weaker opponents comfortably Sauletekis 01-04-2012, 03:08 PM I will say the same I siad in Tomic last match. I'm glad he start to give a damn about 250 tournaments. I don't have any doubts that he will crack top 10 this year, and in these days, betting all my v-cash in his match it's v-money in the bag. Like it was today. Not that v-cash is important to me, but just for the lolz... I don't believe there are too many players out there who he should truly fear facing - top 4 aside he has the game to trouble everybody out there. I've written a brief piece on my outlook for Tomic's 2012 - please check it out http://tennisniche.wordpress.com/2012/01/04/player-profile-the-curious-case-of-bernard-tomic/ MatchFederer 01-04-2012, 05:27 PM Keep rolling Bernard, keep rolling. JediFed 01-04-2012, 05:28 PM Tomic continues his assault on number 1. sammy01 01-04-2012, 08:16 PM this tournament seems to have been suited to tomic even down to court speed and draw. glad to see him making use of it though. | |
