Great effort from Jaziri. This guys pretty decent. He hung around and somewhat took advantage of Jo's rust for a long time. A tad unlucky at the end to get broken for the first time in the 3rd set, got mentally down from it, then Tsonga was happy to end his misery.

tsonga is annoying with escaping against clowns and then fluking against Fed, same like birdshit . Jaziri should have won this match . The guy has the game but like with all countrymans too much clowning

too bad, seems like Jaziri lost belief. Tsonga was starting to tire. Good match, though.

i watched jaziri couple of times last year too and he looked like counter player like murray, but he played in gonzo style today. interesting.

From what I've seen, his strategy is to play the same way as his opponent every match, only worse

Damn, Jo... You've got the easiest 1R match after Cipolla.
If he plays like he knows, he's gonna win this.

Could someone put a few Flyboy quotes about Jaziri? They'd look mighty dumb right now.

Great fight from Jaziri. It's his best surface too I think.

I meant by names. I prefer to face Jaziri over Davydenko.

when I saw him live in DC I thought poor man's Gonzo.

Good first serve, big forehand, hopeless top spin bh but good slice. decent touch at net.

He's an alright player, but I don't understand at all why he has hype on this forum. He's nothing special.

That was one of the milder ones. In the challenger forum he was going about how he has no weapons and how his Italian Squad is full of dudes with quite the arsenal.

Now that I recall, I think I know what he really meant by that.

Good fight. The break in the 3rd set was the key moment. Jaziri was mentally exhausted afterewards.

LOL. Are you joking? You must have seen very little of Tsonga generally given he is one of the most explosive and talented shot-makers on the tour and regularly hits an extremely impressive amount of winners, even compared to the likes of Federer.

WOW. Watched parts of this match and all the first set.

Tsonga played horrible, errors all over the place and Shankerer misshits, many times just grinding it out with no confidence at all.
He was frustrated by gusts of wind and often had a bad body language, meanwhile Jaziri was calm and more adapted to the conditions.

Jizziri was the better player most of the match. And lost.

Nice surprising performance by Jaziri. I`d never watched him playing but definitely looking forward for that. Such great unexpected effort for Tsonga if he wants to be during the weekend on here.
