de Bakker need improve more, at least he won 3 matches in the qualy.

After this event, Lu will be flying to Melbourne via Greenland, Bolivia, Sierra Leone and Tonga.

Shame, I hoped Thiemo would be able to make more of a fist of this. Though I know Lu can play extremely well on his day.

If Lu was in a good day I wouldn`t say it was a surprising result. He didn`t have a good year in 2011 but he proved that he can be a top 40 ranked player and quite dangerous on hard courts too. Considering Thiemo`s present I wouldn`t say that he had a bad week.

Expected :shrug: The only time I've seen MugBakker play in Monte Carlo 2010 when Nadal thrashed him with a bagel and breadstick, I realized that he's not a very talented grinder and weak mentally on top of that.
