Damn, what a bad loss for Ollie. Is he really done?

Rochus didn't play bad, especially in defence, but Sugita was better. The way he played today, the japanese should get back into top 150 without any major problems.

Several bps missed by the midget, but still a fair result. He was a lot in the defensive, often couldn't swing his fh, but had to play a defensive fh slice.

Agree about Sugita but you would still expect more from Ollie.

He was never in the Top 150.

Sugita outplayed Rochus from the baseline. The Belgian was running like crazy, but to no avail. I think we shouldn't expect much from him anymore, even if this was a pretty good match.

Hopefully yes. Since his childish and arrogant behaviour in the Davis Cup last year - culminating in a break-up with his coach - every one of his defeats is worth a celebration.

Sad but true. Will see if Ollie can get some good results and keep in the top 150 playing CH events until he may consider that it is enough.

suigta a damn good player and was hanging around top 180 for most of last year ,he may have not been in the top 150 but he did make 162 last year
btw that puts japan at 13-0 for this year at atp level including qualifiers soeda, ito, sugita and kei have all been undefeated this year

Belgian men were always mugs in tennis. They should take some lessons from their women.
