see, this was my original tentative itinerary

London --> Lisbon --> Spain --> Monte Carlo --> Switzerland --> Italy --> Vienna --> Prague --> Stockholm --> Copenhagen --> Amsterdam --> Belgium --> London

Instead, I could start at Lisbon, put Belgium before Amsterdam, fly from Amsterdam to London and do a day trip to Stratford and go back home from London.... :scratch: that could work....

No Germany or France?I can't see it all. (Sorry Weibke) but I don't really care that much about Germany... and.... I have some personal issues with France. Wow, that is ambitious Deb. The longest trip I've ever done has been 10 days and I've never done more than 2 countries in Europe on a single trip. Even when I lived in London I only left England for one day - to visit Wales.Well the way I see it, I will never have this kind of free time to be able to do it again, so I might as well do as much as possible. I looked up the Eurail and for under $1000 you can buy a pass that lets you travel for 15 days in a 2 month period. I figure that would work out just perfect and make things pretty easy, if I plan well. oh, you have to go to vienna, it's beautiful!!!They're all beautiful :sobbing: that's the problem :lol: Like I said I just can't see it all and because Italy is my #1 destination and I want to go to Rome, Florence, Venice and either Naples or Milan, I just can't do it all :(

Are you going by yourself Deb?More than likely. I have a couple of friends I will mention it to, but I do better by myself. This way I can do exactly what I want, when I want, how I want. Doesn't bother me at all and I can travel a lot more efficiently by myself :)

I'll spend more than one day in each place GWH, I will plan it such that the travel time between each destination is only a couple hours so that I don't waste time, and I will put in some relaxation time at some of the places, and stuff, I'm an excellent and meticulous planner and i'm confident that I'll have an amazing time. Surely 3-4 days in most of these cities is enough to see the things I want :) i'm not an art museum person, so that will help ;)

My issues with France are personal, I don't want to go there, and for fear of creating and starting a debate, I'll just leave it at that. :)

What go so low that they lose their ranking and having to play 3rd Div tournaments in Burkina Faso and then come back and get injured again.

Injuries happen, Roddick has had quite a good run relatively speaking and no need for him to rush back, if it's going to make it worse. It's not life threatening or career threatening, he will be back soon and no ranking points are ever more important than any players health.

What go so low that they lose their ranking and having to play 3rd Div tournaments in Burkina Faso and then come back and get injured again.

I know, but it's still really frustrating. But yeah I guess you're right, I rather him coming back in Cincy than coming back now in Toronto and not being able to play for the rest of the year because of a serious injury.

I don't even like the guy, but can see that him playing injured isn't going to do him any good. If he is ready to play Cincy then he will do so, i

As for frustrating well one of your fave players has to retire at 20 cause of 5 knee ops and the other things mentioned previously and seeing one of your friends snap their achilles tendon in front of you on a football field. Now you see why I am the way I am with injuries. Yes, it's irriating, but prioritise as to what is more important.
