Can you name all the GS Finalists in the 2000s

12-28-2011, 12:36 AM
Name all of the men's grand slam finalists since 2000 in under 5 minutes. But obviously no cheating; no researching. Just knowledge:

And women too, if you're feeling up to it:

12-28-2011, 12:43 AM
got all of the women with 47 seconds left to go

got 45/48 for the men. I missed novak djokovic twice, his final in 2007 and again in 2010 and berdych in 2010

12-28-2011, 12:59 AM
It sucks. Failed to accept Tomas Berdych and Rainer Schuttler.

12-28-2011, 02:05 AM
Schuttler should be spelled Schuettler (this is also the correct spelling).

12-28-2011, 02:19 AM
It sucks. Failed to accept Tomas Berdych and Rainer Schuttler.

what do you mean it didn't accept "Tomas Berdych"? did u spell it correctly?

12-28-2011, 02:36 AM
You should modify it to accept last names only. Sometimes, I can't be bothered to recall players' first names. Like if I just input Federer, it doesn't accept it, it has to be Roger Federer. Who other Federer could it be anyway?

12-28-2011, 02:51 AM
Wow, I am a tard. I thought the quiz was about the winners

I clicked "give up" and saw "Fernando Gonzalez" and was like, "WTF "

12-28-2011, 03:53 AM
I had trouble with names Rainer, Rainier, Schuttler, Schuettler… etc

12-28-2011, 04:06 AM
Didn't get Arnaud Clement or Martin Verkerk for the men

12-28-2011, 04:08 AM
got everyone except for Norman

12-28-2011, 05:14 AM
Opps I missed Federer 26 times

12-28-2011, 05:22 AM
no because I only know surnames mainly

Chris Kuerten
12-28-2011, 08:12 AM
Missed Norman, Corretja and Puerta.

12-28-2011, 08:15 AM
I got 41 of 48 because I lost 1 minute trying to write Kafelnikov's first name properly.

12-28-2011, 12:12 PM
For the men, I got 46/48. I forgot Martin Verkerk and couldn't write Mark Philippoussis. For the women 47/48, I didn't know Conchita Martinez.

12-28-2011, 12:18 PM
I can't spell...missed Verkerk and Corretja but missed many more due to spelling

12-29-2011, 12:46 PM
yes, yes i can.

lot of guesswork on the women's side, got them all in the end though ;)

12-29-2011, 01:48 PM
i missed clement, schuettler and verkerk

women all correct with 2 minutes to go :D

12-29-2011, 02:55 PM
Perfect . Biggest problem was spelling correct kafelinkov's name , and philippoussis or so...

Johnny Groove
12-29-2011, 03:38 PM
Yeah this one was easy.

The WTA one I had no chance, though.

There was a link to naming all the nationalities of Wimbledon 2010 main draw, which was pretty good, and the RG champs from 68 to 2011, where I only missed Andres Gimeno.

12-29-2011, 03:47 PM
Pretty easy. Only failed at spelling Rainer Schuettler... For the women's, I could really care less.

12-29-2011, 04:09 PM

Not the women's though.

12-29-2011, 10:33 PM
Got all of them in the women's quiz but missed 3 in the men's :tape:

·Couldn't remember Norman's name
·Would have never EVER remembered Martin Verkerk...
·Didn't remember Schuettler (nor could I have spelled his name right )

12-29-2011, 10:57 PM
I got only 44/48

But i am watching tennis only since 2006 so meh..

12-29-2011, 11:01 PM
I did it, though I nearly missed Corretja

12-29-2011, 11:14 PM
I'm proud of you scoobs I couldn't even list all the winners for all that time let alone the Finalists!

12-29-2011, 11:26 PM
I got 41/48, but accidentally cheated a little because I clicked give up when I couldn't figure out how the thing worked and all the names showed up... I couldn't spell Philippousis or remember Bagdhatis's first name.

Now I will do the women.

12-29-2011, 11:33 PM
I only miss Conchita Martinez

12-29-2011, 11:38 PM

I'm ashamed to admit who I missed.

12-30-2011, 12:07 AM
40/48 ... saddd. time passes and I suppose memory does too. It's the Roland Garros finalists that I kept fluking on, and the oddball finalists of 2003

12-30-2011, 12:41 AM
I got them all except federer and nadal.

12-30-2011, 03:53 AM
Yes, I'm a genius.

12-30-2011, 04:49 AM
Missed Magnus Norman :(

12-30-2011, 08:18 AM
Wow, both 47, i´m king.

Corey Feldman
12-30-2011, 01:31 PM
liked it, completed it with 2.15 left

2003 was the tricky year remembering Verkerk, Schuettler and Philippoussis all reached finals

12-31-2011, 10:10 AM
For the women 47/48, I didn't know Conchita Martinez.

Same here, she won Wimbledon in 1994 and was still FO finalist in 2000, lol.

12-31-2011, 10:23 AM

Forgot Norman, Corretja, Schuettler (how can you not forget Schuettler making a slam final )

Spent at least 4 out of the 5 minutes trying to spell Kafelnikov and Philippoussis
