2012: Who Will RISE?Ozone 11-27-2011, 09:03 PM Nole, Raonic, Dolgo, Ferrer, Tipsy, Fish all rose in 2011. To a lesser degree, Bogomolov, Young, Dodig, Nishikori, Stebe finally had good years as well. Who will be the man to beat in 2012? v-money 11-27-2011, 09:05 PM Golubev will rise KaiserT 11-27-2011, 09:19 PM Bedene will rise...Goffin too.... into the top 100 anyway. Sonja1989 11-27-2011, 09:27 PM Bedene will rise...Goffin too.... into the top 100 anyway. :haha: v-money 11-27-2011, 09:37 PM But on a serious note, I do think players like Bedene and Goffin will begin to mature and rise up the rankings. Other low ranked youngsters like P.H. Herbert and Grigelis should rise. Stebe should move even further up the top 100, as should Dimitrov, Berankis and Tomic. It's a pretty safe bet that these talented youngster will get better. Mongoose 11-27-2011, 09:44 PM Schuettler Mongoose 11-27-2011, 09:45 PM :haha: whats so funny  Goffin should easily be Top 100 sexybeast 11-27-2011, 09:52 PM Murray. Sonja1989 11-27-2011, 09:53 PM whats so funny  Goffin should easily be Top 100 I don't care, believe in you. I wouldn't laugh on these things anyway.. But wait.. do you ask it serious? *sigh* Look at the names of the poll and then look at Goffin.. And I appreciate lot of things and actually that was funny.. And no matter the name, I would put that smiley for other players too. ;) Hope my answer was satisfactory for you. NID 11-27-2011, 10:11 PM Muzza. Cabbage will be unbearable and will get a permaban. Haas will rise. Topspindoctor 11-28-2011, 01:02 AM Nishikori Everko 11-28-2011, 02:46 AM Golubev will rise I also think Golubev will have a good season. He lost some confidence this year but showed how good he si when he gave Nadal a great fight. next year he will make goood on his talent and rise pretty high. Don;t be shocked if he is top 40 by the the time of the US Open Shinoj 11-28-2011, 02:50 AM I don't know who will rise because, obviously only time will Tell. But who i hope will rise is Del Potro, Too talented to miss out on Slams, Soderling, again Top talent. Hewitt =Legend 11-28-2011, 02:53 AM Lleyton Hewitt. Sauletekis 11-28-2011, 03:09 AM No doubt about Tomic rising to top 10. About the other players, I don't know, but I hope Nadal wins 2 slams, at least.... But Djokovic will still win 2 slams at least IMO. If Djokovic only wins 2 slams next year, that means he will fall, not rise. Imperfect Angel 11-28-2011, 01:12 PM I hope Delpony can rise.:rocker2: Of course Fed still maintain if not better his form. Nirjhor 11-28-2011, 02:52 PM I hope Federer will rise. It will be his last chance to win another slam. Luinir 11-28-2011, 02:53 PM rafa will rise from the ashes.. 3 slams.. Shinoj 11-28-2011, 03:12 PM No Golubev, No Nadal.... It is going to be David NAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLBANDIAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN. :toothy::toothy::toothy: samanosuke 11-28-2011, 03:14 PM how stupid question . Golubev clearly Sapeod 11-28-2011, 03:23 PM Muzza. Cabbage will be unbearable and will get a permaban. Hopefully. I won't get any bans if I don't insult people or do anything wrong, which I don't. I will, however, gloat. The amount of gloating I will do can't be comprehended by the human mind. I hope you're looking forward to it because 2012 will be Murray's rising year and then 2013 will be his dominant year. I believe I've already talked about this in other threads, so I'll leave it at that. Sapeod 11-28-2011, 03:24 PM No Golubev, No Nadal.... It is going to be David NAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLBANDIAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN. :toothy::toothy::toothy: The only thing Nalbandian will be doing is falling flat on his face and dropping down the rankings like a rock. Hopefully, anyway. Luinir 11-28-2011, 03:27 PM kid... murray is not gonna win slam next year. stop it. Saberq 11-28-2011, 03:30 PM shit I wanna see Murray win a Slam just to see the reaction of Sapeod.....hey Dani what is your perfect scenario for Andy in a GS....which GS would you like him to win next year and who would you want for him to beat in the final? Sapeod 11-28-2011, 03:31 PM kid... murray is not gonna win slam next year. stop it. His form near the end of this year was pretty good. Probably the best he's been for a long time. However, injury forced him out of WTF. That was unfortunate, but he has an entire month to train and get better. Djokovic is playing terribly and so is Nadal. Federer is the only one playing well, so Murray's only threat will be him. Djokovic and Nadal are going to fall. Their type of tennis is stressful on the body and is crap, to put it simply. They will fall, Federer will rise a bit and Murray will rise a lot. Get ready for Murray's breakthrough year :wavey: Luinir 11-28-2011, 03:32 PM so you are saying djokovic and nadal playing physical tennis but murray not? Sapeod 11-28-2011, 03:33 PM shit I wanna see Murray win a Slam just to see the reaction of Sapeod.....hey Dani what is your perfect scenario for Andy in a GS....which GS would you like him to win next year and who would you want for him to beat in the final? Any slam will do. I'd love him to absolutely trash Djokovic or Nadal. Would be amazing to see him swat aside either of those cheaters. However, I'm not picky, so I couldn't care less who he faces. As long as embarrasses the haters with a win, I don't care who he beats or where he beats them. I guess the slightly faster hardcourt slams will be better than the other two slow-as-hell slams. Sapeod 11-28-2011, 03:34 PM so you are saying djokovic and nadal playing physical tennis but murray not? Murray's tennis is way below theirs when it comes to stress. He runs a lot, but his variety, serve and occasionaly massive game help him out a lot. What do Djokovic and Nadal have? Nothing, they have to work for their wins. They have no massive shots. At least Murray has a big backhand and a big serve. Their serves are tiny compared to his. They will burn out way before Murray does. KaiserT 11-28-2011, 03:37 PM I don't care, believe in you. I don't think anyone will make a significant impact at the top of the game who hasn't already, so I ignored the poll. Saberq 11-28-2011, 04:03 PM Murray's tennis is way below theirs when it comes to stress. Murray is more passive than Nadal and Novak and therefore he gets more worn out then them two...Dont forget that Murray has longer list of injuries than Novak who got worn out at the end of this year....also saying that Nadal and Djokovic will fall is your wishful thinking...Fed wont rise Murray might but fact is you dont know 1 thing what will happen and neither do the rest of us Saberq 11-28-2011, 04:05 PM Murray's tennis is way below theirs when it comes to stress. Murray's BH is great but compared to Novak's is not even in the same league while his serve when on is great is always at 50%...Novak and Rafa have more complete ground games than Andy and that's why they have success MaxPower 11-28-2011, 04:05 PM So I can't vote for Soderling without also voting for Almugro? What have you done good sir? :) It's a miracle they even have one vote. Luinir 11-28-2011, 04:07 PM it doesn't mean you are voting for almagro. it means you are voting for soderling or almagro. but i agree that this poll is BS. ossie 11-28-2011, 04:09 PM delpo will do the only rising in 2012 Mountaindewslave 11-28-2011, 04:56 PM T. I mean seriously now wtf? I thought players outside of the top 20 or top 30 and young players can rise not players who already won multiple slams But is just my oppinion green25814 11-28-2011, 05:40 PM I want someone outside the topten to win a slam. superganon 11-28-2011, 05:51 PM Soderling will rise and win at least another masters title. back in top 4. nole will fall. losing many points leaving federer, murray or nadal to dominate. delpotro will also rise making big GS results. prob win a 1000 title aswell. except these 2 i see nalbandian, blake, roddick and Gonzalez for a final return in top 10. question: where is pics, fish? question 2: how come u put soderling with almagro?...BS! Argenbrit 11-28-2011, 06:12 PM Del Potro and Soderling again. Filo V. 11-28-2011, 06:36 PM Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini. shiaben 11-28-2011, 06:48 PM Soderling from this point on will remain a floater. He'll be one of those names where top seeds will want to avoid at the slams, because he could potentially exhaust them if the match drags and weaken them enough for the next round opponent. Berdych, I'm not sure about. I don't know what will happen to him. Probably remain a floater as well. Maybe him and Soderling will hang around that 3rd and 4th round territory. At this point. Tsonga and Del Potro, are the only ones, I see reaching the QFs in more than one slam per year. In the past it use to be players like Davydenko, Verdasco, etc. But I think these two will hang around at the QFs and when they're off around the 4th round. Where did you ever see Verdasco threatening anybody...he's done! Fuser59 11-28-2011, 07:32 PM I still somehow hope Igor Andreev can sort himself out and start playing great...he could easily be a top 20 player!! r2473 11-28-2011, 07:42 PM I hope Federer will rise.
