In the game, participants pick the winners of all main draw matches and are placed in a knock-out system. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the winner of most matches correctly, moves on to the next round. The same applies for doubles, but you're in a team format and your scores are combined.
Note:
- In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will decide who moves on to the next round.
- In case a player (i.e. the actual ATP Player) retires in a match, this match will be counted as long as one point has been played. If players are replaced by a lucky loser after the start of Tennis Tipping, these matches will be cancelled.
How to Sign-Up:
Just post here that you would like to play. You can only play one tournament per week. Entries will be based on ranking. Everyone can commit.:)
Please read this post for more information
http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...14&postcount=1
How to send in picks:
Picks can be sent in as soon as the draws are ready. Remember, you pick a winner in every match! Picks should be sent by PM, so that your opponent does not know your picks. Picks should be titled: [TT: ?, day #]. Picks can be sent in anytime until the beginning of play each day. If you're still in both singles & doubles, you use the same tips for both. For doubles, you still tip the ATP singles matches, not the doubles! No changes can be made after the play has started.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE
If the board goes down as has happened before, send your picks to justafanyyc@gmail.com

Thanks! Also Hidalgo has committed to both Toyota and Guayaquil. He registered here first so he should be off your list Marto. Is that correct?
First deadline has passed. The final deadline for singles and doubles will be Thursday 18:00 CET because we have plenty of players and more importantly the qualifying tournament will start earlier because we're on Japan time.
So you know, once you are out here then you will be LE over in Guayaquil and be ALT1000.
You can't enter two tournaments then pick the best position that suits you.

What happens if a player commits to two different tournaments in the same week?
If the player commited first in a tournament and then commited in another one, the first one prevails.
The player must withdraw from the tournament they've previously entered before being accepted in the entry list of the other tournament (as a late entry). If the double commitment is not noticed by the managers, points gained by a player who commits to tournaments in the same week will be disconsidered.
If the infraction is noticed before the tournaments start, only the first commitment is valid and no punishment is applied.

Didn't know about that rule, too. Otherwise I would not have withdrawn from Helsinki and then move to Toyota:sad:
I saw many people change the tournaments before the deadline and they were no LEs in their second choice tournament. It's only lately that Elmo Jr did that when he moved from Paris to Buenos Aires...
But obviously Marto is right and I accept this of course ;)
No problem mateusz - it wasn't the most important tournament for me:D Shit happens!

Yeah, I agree.
And what about Hidalgo then. He commited to two tournaments this week and didn't even withdraw from one of them. If I understand the rule correctly, he should only appear in the list of Guayaquil (as LE) because that was his second commitment. Right?

Shouldn't you move the respective players up based on rankings if Superhoops/Thunderfish goes to main draw since those ALTs aren't allowed to receive a seeded spot? Heese and Lolada_4 as respective seeds 7 & 8 and have those ALTS take Heese and Lolada_4's current spot. Only mentioning this cause they are guaranteed a spot in the QD with SEs and not ALTs replacing a seeded player who didn't send a pick.

I thought about that but it would then be impossible to do differences at the right time with all the different possible combinations.
HOWEVER, we have received some good fortune. lolada_4's match in Montevideo had only one difference and it was the first quarterfinal. He has won and receives an SE.
Deathless Mortal has lost in Salzburg.
Superhoops(GRB) moves into the main draw.
I will use your suggestion:
[5]herbal(AUS) moves to [1]Superhoops(GBR)'s spot
[9]Hesse(POL) moves to [5]herbal(AUS)'s spot
ALT1 Dupuis2006(CAN) moves to Hesse(POL)'s spot
ALT2 Orangehat(SIN) moves to lolada_4(POR)'s spot.
Hope that all makes sense! We're ready to go!

[4]BrazilTBFan(GRE) being the highest seed with no opponent, advances to the final round.

ALT2 Kirilenko-Fan replaces Flynn
We have 4 matches now.

The 4 winners plus the 3 best losers will advance to the final round. The losers will be placed back into the draw based on results (worse result facing highest seed).

Mahqz posted the link to the OOP at 01:00AM your time but it wouldn't have mattered if I posted it officially. I imagine you're asleep at 1am.
I've found that the first OOP for Saturday qualifying for most tournaments is late. I ran into it when I managed Tiburon. I just helped out Marto to post the Guayaquil Ecuador OOP which just came out right now and he couldn't stay awake anymore. Play in Guayaquil starts in 10 hours.
